The village of kponkpo located in the Greater Accra of Ghana close to the coastal boundaries of the country. This layout was proposed to help in the redevolopment of the village into a town. The whole idea was to bring the people together, so in the layout all monuments and durbar grounds are located in the center of the town. LAYOUT

Attached to the urban intervention was to design a neighbourhood design scheme consisting of low cost house. The whole concept was to create a neighbourhood with a sense of unity, For the layout i used the grid style in order to help me achieve my concept.

A community school catering for the education of kids in the community from the nursery to the junior high located within the vicinity Sakumono. Still with the concept of unity this design was natured on the basis of sense of belongingness. Where by students feel safe within and outside the walls of the classroom. With that idea in mind the design was made in a form of hierarchy as you see in the 3d.

CONTENT Model

Physical model of the community school alongside with its landscape. As seen in the model there is a space dedicated for sports and also there is a sports complex on campus together an exterior dining area with a workshop for student intresested in ceramics and pottery making.
