Formerly Linden Street Formerly known as Linden Street and nestled in the midst of Judge’s Hill, the new Medical District, the forthcoming Texas Mall and the Central Business District, 17 TH Street is at the apex of change in our growing city. Running between the Texas State Capitol building and The University of Texas at Austin, 17 TH Street truly represents the idea that what starts here is likely to change the world.

The Capitol City Rises

Following the Civil War, Reconstruction brought the Houston and Texas Central Railway railroad connection to Austin. Seemingly overnight, the city became the Lone Star State’s hub for trade and commerce.

As the city grew, increasingly modern buildings were erected throughout the booming capital, many of which still stand today. This includes the Texas State Capitol itself, which was completed in 1888 and stands 15 feet taller than our nation’s Capitol in Washington D.C.

An Eye on the Future As the Texas State Capitol building rose, The University of Texas at Austin opened its doors in 1883. From that day forward, the University has cultivated some of the best and the brightest talents and minds from around the world on those Forty Acres.

Rhode Partners’ unique design for The Linden is an expression of contemporary Austin. Inspiration for the design stems from an appreciation for refined use of materials and clarity of structure. It is intended to be a “neutral” setting containing extraordinary art and furnishings, providing a backdrop for sophisticated living in an urban setting.

DEN Property Group’s Developer Division is proud to be the exclusive listing partner for Austin’s most beloved brands and its newest distinguished development—The Linden Residences.

The project consists of residences on the upper levels and a dedicated common amenity below at the 10TH level. A parking garage with custom metal screening is provided at the middle levels. The Linden Developers’ passion and dedication to quality excited DEN from the beginning and is aligned with DEN’s vision to work on the best projects in the world with the best people.
