According to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, only around 5% of people receive the mental health help they need. The Dempsey Center is here to provide essential mental health support for patients, survivors, and care partners all at no cost.

“I have been impacted by the talented leaders in the support groups both online and in person. They are compassionate and really hear between the lines. I am so grateful for them and the wonderful participants who share their cancer journeys.”
“I never thought I wanted to join a cancer support group but Kerry Irish suggested I just try it and I can now not image what it would be like without this amazing, weekly, group. Because of Kerry's expertise and support I feel surrounded by a type of care that my family, as good as they are, can not provide.”
“I was NOT going to join a support group, but on her recommendation to just try it, I did join, and after these months with our groups weekly zoom meetings, I feel the support they lend, the humor, suggestions, sharing of grief, and the support I can give back, has been remarkable.”
