100% of DelVal students graduate with real-world experience on their resume through our award-winning Experience360 program (E360). Based on the concept of science with practice, or learning by doing, E360 is much more than an internship program. You will have the opportunity to:
4Explore career paths within your major
4Gain hands-on experiences in classrooms, laboratories and beyond
4Engage in leadership opportunities through athletics, student government, or one of our 70+ clubs and organizations
4Conduct research or independent study
4Intern at a top company in your field
Our award-winning Experience360 program is based on the concept of science with practice, or learning by doing. Hands-on learning stimulates critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. It engages multiple senses and reinforces neural connections increasing the likelihood of remembering information over the long term. Hands-on experience allows you to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts and encourages innovation, creativity and teamwork, providing you with a taste of real-world challenges and solutions.
Animal science majors work hands-on with animals starting in year one. With over 1,000 acres of living laboratories on our campus, you can explore your passions in DelVal’s Small Animal Science Lab, Swine Science Facility, Dairy Science Center, Livestock Breeding Center, Equine Center and Breeding Facilities.
