The Honors Program DelVal’s Honors Program offers you intellectual opportunities beyond the scope of most collegiate programs: smaller, discussion-based classes, direct contact with top faculty members, opportunities for international study, and the freedom to pursue individualized programs with a crossdisciplinary flavor. With the option of special housing on campus, you will join other members of the Honors Living Learning Community in living together, taking classes and benefitting from working closely with faculty mentors. Being a part of this community will help you develop the character and leadership skills required to succeed at DelVal and beyond. Upon completion of the program, the Honors designation is placed on your official record.

Getting involved comes naturally to DelVal students—and the wealth of opportunities we offer makes it easy. From on-campus housing to clubs and organizations to athletics, there is no shortage of ways for you to take advantage of the vibrant campus life we’re known for.

DelVal students and faculty participate in more 70 student organizations, representing passions from rock climbing to reading, from dairy to drama.

Residential Life

In our residence halls, you’ll make lifelong friends, participate in co-curricular programming, and be just a short walk away from a breadth of campus activities. And our Residence Life staff will help you every step of the way.

Annual Campus Events Homecoming: Aggies past, present and future come together each October for Homecoming and Family Weekend. As a DelVal student, you’ll gather with friends, celebrate the spirit of the University, and meet and mingle with our alumni.

A-Day: Activities Day—we call it A-Day—brings the DelVal campus and the surrounding community together every spring for three days of educational exhibits, competitions, entertainment, fun and great food. A-Day is planned and executed entirely by students!

30th Night: Each year, DelVal seniors gather at the president’s house 30 days before Commencement for a fun evening to celebrate their achievements.

CAMPUS LIFE

Research shows that living on campus greatly enhances a student’s college experience— academically as well as socially. That’s why DelVal has freshmen and sophomores live on campus to immerse themselves in a campus life.
