INSTALLING POTSTREAM DRIPPERS Adjust the water application rate to suit the size of pot or plant type by rotating the cap.

Connect to your 13 mm tube by pushing the 4 mm joiner into holes you have punched in the tube.

Cut a length of 4 mm micro tube to suit the location of your pot plant, then push a 4 mm joiner into one end of the tube and ® a Potstream into the other.

Clip on a Tidy-BowTM Elbow to keep tube neatly beside your pots.

INSTALLING SHRUBBLER , SPECTRUM

The cap can also be fully closed to stop the ow.

OR MINI BUBBLER SPIKES

Twist off the barbed joiner attached to the side of the spike.

Cut 4 mm micro tube to a suitable length for each plant location. Push the barbed joiner into one end of the tube, then push the ® Shrubbler , SpectrumTM or Mini Bubbler Spike into the other end of the tube.

Connect your Shrubbler , SpectrumTM or Mini Bubbler barb to your 13 mm tube by pushing the barbed joiner into a hole you have created in the tube using the tube punch.

l A typical agricultural micro irrigation system features the following core elements: Ÿ

Water Supply - The water supply can be an open water source such as a river, channel, dam or tank or a ground water supply such as a bore or a well.

Pump - The pump provides the energy for the system to operate. Pump selection needs to consider the operating pressure of the micro emitters, pipe friction losses, elevation differences, valves and ttings losses, ltration losses and allow some contingencies for system inefciencies and system ageing. A good pump selection will ensure that the pump operating efciencies are at their peak.

Fertigation/Chemigation - The fertigation system allows for the application of soluble fertilizers to be delivered through the micro irrigation system. This can be a very effective method of applying fertilizers as micro irrigation systems can have application efciencies of up to 90%. Chemigation is the method of applying system cleansing agents such as chlorine and acid injection to clean and ush contaminants out of the system.

Filtration - A ltration system is an essential element of micro irrigation systems for removing particulate matter from the water supply. In open water situations organic matter is usually present and a good method of ltration is the use of media ltration. With ground water situations there is usually more inorganic material and disc and screen lters are often used. Filters require regular backwashing and cleaning which can sometimes be automated. Filters also require regular preventative maintenance to keep them operating in peak condition. It is important to get the right ltration system for your micro irrigation system and we would recommend seeking the assistance of a certied irrigation designer for advice.

Mainline - The mainline pipework transfers the water from the water supply to the zone control valves. The pipe is usually uPVC or PE (Polyethylene) piping systems sized to suit the demand situation. Good design practice is to have water velocities in the mainline pipework system to be less than 1.5 m/s. Changes in direction of pipework in mainlines should also be thrust blocked (anchored with concrete).

Zone Control Valves - The zone control valve turns on and off the zone of emitters. These valves can be simple manual on off valves or fully automated solenoid operated valves. To provide constant pressure to the zone these valves can often incorporate a pressure regulator which can be set to a control downstream pressure. Air vacuum relief valves are also often included at these zone control valve points.

Submain - The submain is the pipework that supplies the lateral pipework. It is usually either uPVC or PE Piping system. ® Xpando Take offs are often used for connecting the submain pipework to the Lateral pipework.

Lateral - The lateral pipework is usually low density polyethylene (LDPE) tubing and runs along the row.

Emitters - Emitters can be drippers, sprays or mini sprinklers which are placed to water the root zone of the crop.

Flushing points - A good micro irrigation system will incorporate ushing points at the end of the submains and the laterals. These points can be opened periodically to ush out any accumulated sediments.

Returns

Prices set out in the Antelco Australian Bulk Price List are list prices excluding GST. Prices may change without notice and customers may conrm prices at the time of ordering. Antelco tax invoices show GST for each line item, total GST and a nal total including GST.

Goods will be accepted for return only if prior approval has been obtained from Antelco Pty Ltd. The goods must be undamaged, unsoiled and in a saleable condition. All returned goods must include a copy of the original invoice and packing slip. Goods that are approved for return after thirty (30) days from the date of delivery are subject to a 15% restocking charge. Freight cost and risk will remain the responsibility of the customer.

Payment and trading terms Payment can be made by cash, cheque, VISA or MasterCard, or by bank transfer (contact Antelco Pty Ltd for bank details). Credit customers must pay within thirty (30) days of the end of the month appearing on the invoice, or otherwise as agreed in writing.

Antelco Pty Ltd is a manufacturer of irrigation products which are designed for use in outdoor irrigation applications only and low pressure systems where the operating pressure at the product does not exceed 300 kPa. Decisions on the use of Antelco products in any other situation remain the responsibility of the customer. If there is uncertainty as to the particular use of the product, the customer or end-user should test its suitability for that application.

Customers may contact the Antelco Sales Department with special orders. They will be advised whether their order can be satised, together with pricing and anticipated delivery time. A minimum order handling fee of $20.00 (GST inclusive) will apply to orders with a total value of goods of less than $120.00 (GST inclusive).

Urgent (Air Cargo) Orders Orders for shipment by air must be received before 10.00 am to be despatched the same day, and charges will apply. Airbags are best restricted to three or ve kilograms.

Freight and Insurance All prices are ex-works Murray Bridge South Australia. Delivery from Antelco Murray Bridge is at the customer's expense. Goods are despatched uninsured and at customer’s risk. Customers acknowledge that delivery insurance is their responsibility.

Receipt of Goods Ordered goods should be opened promptly on receipt and checked against the enclosed packing slip. If correct, the consignment note should be signed. If any item is missing and not marked as being “back ordered”, immediately advise Antelco.

Back Orders Back orders are treated as new orders. Back orders are invoiced when they are despatched. Customers should advise Antelco if they do not want any items back ordered or if they want back orders cancelled. Antelco will cancel a back order if it has not been despatched.

Antelco Pty Ltd reserves the right to re-design its products and thereby cause changes to the specications, without notice and without incurring any liability.

Risk and Title Risk of loss or damage to the goods, passes to the customer at the time of despatch from the Antelco Pty Ltd warehouse. Notwithstanding that the risk of the goods may pass to the customer, Antelco Pty Ltd retains all legal and equitable rights of ownership of the goods until payment has been made in full (including interest and any other charges associated with the supply of the goods). The customer shall store and protect the goods separately to identify them as the property of Antelco Pty Ltd until paid in full. The customer may sell the goods in the ordinary course of business, but any monies received for the sale of the goods must be held for the benet of Antelco Pty Ltd. If the customer fails to pay the debt, Antelco Pty Ltd reserves the right to enter the premises where the goods are located, seize the goods to which ownership has not passed, and sell them to recover the amount of debt owed, without being liable for damages.

Limit of Liability In the event of a breach of these Conditions of Sale or of any implied warranties, whether statutory or otherwise, or arising out of or in relation to the sale of Antelco products, Antelco's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective goods. In no event will such a breach give rise to any liability for punitive damages, loss of prots or expected future business, damage to reputation or goodwill, loss of any order or contract or any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising from any cause whatsoever.

Warranty Shortages or Damaged Goods Claims for shortages or errors on orders despatched will not be recognised after seven (7) days from the date of delivery. If goods are received damaged or the delivery is incomplete as per the packing slip, record details on the delivery note and advise the carrier and Antelco Pty Ltd immediately.

Force Majeure If by reason of any fact, circumstance, matter or thing beyond its reasonable control, Antelco Pty Ltd is unable to perform in whole or in part any obligation under these Conditions of Sale then Antelco Pty Ltd is relieved of that obligation to the extent and for the period that it is so unable to perform and is not liable to the customer in respect of such inability.

In addition to any statutory warranty and subject to these Conditions of Sale, Antelco Pty Ltd warrants that its products are of merchantable quality, free from defects or faults, and are t for the purpose for which they were manufactured or supplied. At its option and in its sole discretion, Antelco Pty Ltd will repair or replace goods found to be defective in workmanship or materials within twelve (12) months of the date of purchase. The customer will be responsible for delivering products to be repaired to Antelco Pty Ltd.

Applicable Law All matters for determination between Antelco Pty Ltd and the customer shall be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of South Australia according to the laws of South Australia.

Export Conditions of Sale: Antelco Pty Ltd Prices

Product Design

All prices set out in the Antelco Export Price List are in Australian dollars and are ex works, Murray Bridge, South Australia, Australia. Prices may change without notice and customers may conrm prices at the time of ordering.

Antelco Pty Ltd reserves the right to re-design its products and thereby cause changes to the specications, without notice and without incurring any liability.

Compatibility Payment Payment is required prior to despatch and may be made by VISA or MasterCard or by electronic funds transfer (contact Antelco Pty Ltd for bank details). Any fees and charges associated with the payment method are to be borne by the customer.

Orders

Risk and Title

Orders will be accepted and invoiced at the prices in effect at the date of shipment. Antelco Pty Ltd reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer and/or the carrier at the time of despatch from Antelco Pty Ltd warehouse at Murray Bridge. Antelco Pty Ltd accepts no liability for goods lost or damaged in transit, and any carrier shall be deemed to be the agent of the customer. Goods held or stored for the customer shall be at the risk and expense of the customer, from the time at which the goods otherwise have been available for collection or despatch. Notwithstanding that the risk of the goods may pass to the customer, Antelco Pty Ltd retains all legal and equitable rights of ownership of the goods until payment has been made in full (including interest and any other charges associated with the supply of the goods).

Freight and Insurance In addition to sea or air freight costs, customers will be charged for transport and any associated costs for delivery to an international departure point. Goods are despatched uninsured and at the risk of customers who acknowledge that delivery insurance is their responsibility. Antelco can obtain insurance for customers on request.
