Overview
General Information
In Delphian’s Lower School summer day camp program, students enjoy daily academic study in subjects such as reading, spelling, and math combined with a variety of exciting activities. The Lower School week is Mon-Fri. Students may enroll for 2 - 6 weeks at a time and can choose to begin their enrollment session on any Monday up to July 15th.
Activities
Lower School students have fun learning in the classroom and exploring the world around them, taking advantage of all that Delphian’s 720-acre campus has to offer. A typical day might include reading, writing, math, science, art, dance, horseback riding, hiking, woodworking, and more.
Field Trips
Most Fridays are all-day field trips, leaving in the morning and returning by parent pick-up time at the end of the day. Students should bring a water bottle, a packed lunch, a lightweight jacket, and outdoor-appropriate clothing for all field trips.
“I love that there is so much outdoor activity time while still learning a lot in the classroom.”
