1 Overnight Camping Brand new at camping? On our overnight camping trip, we help reserve you the perfect spot at a local campsite here in Boulder. We’ll provide all the essentials, from the tent, sleeping bags, fire starters, etc! All you have to do is grab your kit from our Boulder location and get started on your first outdoor adventure!

Backpacking Why not try your hand at backpacking before investing in all the equipment?

On one of our curated overnight trips, we help plan your route and provide you with the basic equipment you need, including backpacks, a tent, sleeping bags, etc. It’s an easy introduction to what could be your new passion.

Smoky Mountains This hike starts near Chattanooga, TN, and meanders for four nights through the Smoky Mountain trails. Discover waterfalls, watering holes, and lots of wildlife as we explore Appalachia. This trip also provides an intro to foraging, as our guides are experts at incorporating the local fauna into your delicious daily meals.

4 Arizona Hiking the South Mountains near Phoenix will provide a new challenge in your backpacking career.

The beautiful, rugged desert terrain provides stunning vistas and opportunity for fancy footwork on your hike. The desert sky also gives the most fantastic showing of stars than you have yet seen.

5 Korea Korea has some of the most underrated mountains in the world. This trip takes us through eastern Korea, where our hikes will give us glimpses of the East Sea. One night will be spent in a Buddhist temple, where we will experience a new serenity and practice the simplified life of a Buddhist monk.

6 India Trekking through the foothills of the Himalayas is a life-changing experience. This trip starts in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga, where we will stay at an ashram and practice with one of Rishikesh’s best yoga teachers.

We will then proceed to the trail, where we will proceed on our most vigorous trek that lasts six days and features some of the most stunning views on this planet.

ABOUT US Deborah and Kevin discovered their love for backpacking and travel early in life. After college, Deborah spent several years living in Korea and traveling throughout Asia. After returning to the States, she and Kevin started backpacking and decided they wanted to make it their life’s passion, so they started Elevate to share their hobby with others.
