Deep in the Heart of Christmas Making Christmas magic in the Lone Star State
Texas was full of Christmas spirit this holiday season. Deer Park community members pictured had a holly jolly time taking photos and interacting with the new decorations.
Texas may be known for big skies and bright stars, but last Christmas, it was holiday lights that stole the show. 2024 was a big year for Dekra-Lite in the Lone Star State. Not only did our local Texas rep settle into her new role, but she hit the ground running. This is not the story of her success. It’s the story of every Texas community member who experienced Christmas magic in a new way. The story of memories made and moments cherished. Of Christmas wishes answered and sleepy celebrations brought back to life. This is the story of three Texas cities that learned to lasso their holiday spirit. The birthplace of Texas deserves a holiday as jolly as a cowboy on Christmas morning. For Deer Park, that meant a classic Americana color palette, unique Lone Star ornaments, and a merry mascot to light the way to the holidays. The result? A community that dusted off its traditions and rekindled the spirit of the season.
Pearland was looking for something similar, but with a more local feel.
A custom Lone Star ornament made for Deer Park.
Playing on their Candyland-esque name, Pearland set out to create four holiday hubs, transforming the city park into a game board. Not only did this give community members new places to snap their family photos, but cultivated an immersive Christmas experience they’ll never forget. Kemah was looking for something a little different. Simple, yet elegant – an elevated holiday experience for the city’s lighthouse district. Incorporating photo ops and holiday icons, the city leveraged local values to create a celebration that resonated with its residents. And the community shined brighter because of it.
