Deloitte’s Government and Public Services practice—our people, ideas, technology and outcomes—are all designed for impact. Our team of over 12,000 professionals bring fresh perspective to help you anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill your mission promise.
Deloitte’s Defense, Security & Justice practice serves clients across: • All branches of the Armed Forces • The Unified Combatant Commands • The agencies of the Department of Defense • The Department of Homeland Security • The Department of Justice • The intelligence community
Transforming how transportation works
Industry 4.0 is driving the future of how goods get from point A to point B. Whether is it to the store shelf or the forward edge of the battlefield, from connected sensors working with leading edge software providing real time visibility and “control tower” capability, organizations and their stakeholders are getting an never-before-available view into their distribution networks. The hardware, software, and human interface is creating efficiencies and opportunities at all levels. Deloitte is working with clients in each step of the Digital Supply Network, from factory to last tactical mile, to help our clients define and deploy how they will prepare for the future of transportation.
The future of work
As work is transformed, so is the workforce. Talent comes from myriad sources. AI, automation, and other emerging technologies are now ubiquitous, helping people work smarter wherever they are. Workers collaborate with machines and use additional tools and resources to learn and reskill as their work evolves.
The analytics behind the intelligence.
The best analytics initiatives require focused outcomes, perspective on the data available to support those outcomes, and an ability to garner insights gleaned from the data. Deloitte’s global footprint gives us a unique perspective of where data can be collected and synthesized to support mission needs. Combining Deloitte’s perspective with the latest in cognitive design, you can obtain fast, predictive, and high-quality outcomes.
Cyber everywhere.
As the world becomes more connected, cyber threats are growing in number and complexity. Cyber is moving in new directions—beyond an organization’s walls and IT environments and into the products they create, the factories where they make them, the spaces where their employees conceive them, and where customers use them. With new and ever-evolving challenges will come extraordinary opportunities. It’s time to embrace cyber.
The modernization behind the mission.
Unified mission and operational system capabilities are the cornerstone for modernization. As the pace of technological innovation accelerates, legacy core systems can’t keep up. People, processes, and operating models have to adapt to the rapidly changing workforce and the fast pace of disruption. Deloitte has a path to harness this changing environment and help you achieve bold outcomes.
The force behind the force.
In addition to serving valued clients across the US Department of Defense, Deloitte is committed to supporting the Military Family ecosystem by developing capabilities and solutions that enhance quality of life for Military Families and Veterans, from child development to spouse employment to casualty and memorial affairs. Deloitte is proud to represent the military community and acknowledges the sacrifice that comes with service.

One man’s vision is how the Enterprise story begins. Back in 1957, a decorated WWII Hellcat pilot returned home after serving over the skies of the South Pacific. This man, a true innovator named Jack Taylor, had a steadfast dedication to his country, his family, and the dream of starting a business.
Utilizing lessons learned in the Navy—including the value of hard work, team spirit and simply doing the right thing—Jack embraced the novel concept of leasing automobiles, with a fleet of seven cars. He then turned those seven cars into a household name. Jack selected the name Enterprise as a salute to the WWII aircraft carrier he served on, the USS Enterprise. Enterprise is a brand that’s recognized as a worldwide leader in the car rental industry who values employees and customers as much as a member of our family.
Today, Enterprise Holdings—through its independent regional subsidiaries and franchise partners—operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands via more than 10,000 fully staffed neighborhood and airport offices in more than 90 countries and territories.
This robust global network—operating a fleet of 2 million vehicles—provides a comprehensive portfolio of transportation solutions, including car rental, carsharing, vanpooling, car sales, truck rental, online ride-matching and affiliated fleet management services. As a total mobility provider and an integral part of the automotive value chain, we serve the needs of a wide variety of businesses, consumers, government agencies and organizations day in and day out—and especially when disaster recovery efforts are under way.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s strong track record of putting the customer first has attracted millions of customers to its airport locations. As the brand has grown at the airport, so has our strong reputation for customer service. With hundreds of airport locations, Enterprise offers a wide selection of vehicles for business and leisure travelers around the world.
National Car Rental is a premium, internationally recognized brand that serves the daily rental needs of the frequent airport traveler throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Europe, as well as parts of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. With National, time-sensitive customers are able to quickly choose their own vehicles, based upon their advance reservation and requested car class, and then simply drive away from the airport.
That convenience, combined with the first comprehensive frequent renter program in the industry—the Emerald Club—is why National consistently ranks as one of the best among airport car rental customers.
Alamo Rent A Car—the largest car rental provider to international travelers visiting North America—is a valueoriented, internationally recognized brand that serves the rental needs of airport leisure travelers. A recognized technology innovator, Alamo was the first car rental brand to offer self-serve kiosks to help airport customers get on the road faster. Alamo also offers everyday low rental rates and a hassle-free customer experience at the most popular travel destinations throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Europe, as well as parts of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Freeman Holdings Group is primarily a group of privately held FBOs, located at fourteen airports across the United States; soon to be located in Hawaii. The FBOs are full-service facilities with special focus on military operations capable of handling cargo and baggage. We treat military and civilian flights as equals, but we understand the unique needs of our military travelers as they transit through our facilities, so they are, and will always be, “first among equals.” Twelve of our fourteen FBOs are branded “Million Air” and are the largest single license holder in the Million Air Interlink network of worldwide FBOs. The remaining two of the FBOs operate under the Freeman name.
COMING SOON: MILLION AIR HONOLULU! We have long had our eyes on Kalaeloa, Hawaii. The John Rodgers Airport (PHJR) in Kalaeloa has the location, infrastructure and low air traffic—as compared to Honolulu international Airport—that makes PHJR the optional choice. PHJR can accommodate a wide variety of aircraft with its expansive ramps and 8,000- and 6,000-foot-long runways. We are working on our operation that Million Air Honolulu aims to boost aviation traffic in Kalaeloa with the addition of a 30,000 sq ft hangar, 8,000 sq ft state-of-the-art FBO and café. We are initiating a brand-new fuel farm with capacity of 240,000 gallons of Jet Fuel and 15,000 gallons of AvGas. Our planned development and additional upgrades puts PHJR on the map.
Our relationship with the Million Air franchise links us with the TEN-YEAR leader of aviation support and customer service in the trade—NATIONWIDE. We are proud of our role in establishing that reputation for our outrageous customer service, professional and precise servicing of military and civilian aircraft, and industry-leading facilities and amenities. We are mission, safety and service-focused, all delivered with military precision.

US Ocean, LLC, and its parent company, Patriot Shipping, LLC, operate the largest fleet of United States registered multi-purpose vessels, providing worldwide transport and associated logistics for heavylift, project and breakbulk cargoes. USO’s modern fleet of six shallow-draft, heavylift vessels have lifting capacities of up to 900 MT, as well as RO/RO, and FLO/FLO capabilities, allowing for unparalleled flexibility.
Patriot Shipping, LLC is a participant in the Maritime Security Program (MSP) and Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) program. Five vessels in the Company’s fleet are MSP enrolled vessels and all six of the Company’s vessels are enrolled VISA. Patriot’s US flag fleet is the youngest fleet operating under US flag with fleet age of <10 years. Patriot Shipping also maintains the only commercial vessel under the US flag with FLO/FLO capabilities.
US Ocean has carried and performed the associated logistics for commercial and US flag impelled cargo to and from all seven continents and more than 50 countries around the globe. From the onshore staff to the fleet’s crews, US Ocean’s comprehensive personnel have more than two decades of niche expertise transporting cargoes to remote regions with limited to no infrastructure.
Likewise, US Ocean’s robust worldwide breakbulk network includes master mariners, port captains, and logistics professionals who support all services associated with end-to-end logistics, including the planning and transport of heavylift, IMO/ IMDG hazardous goods, breakbulk, military, humanitarian aid, and other cargoes.
US citizen merchant mariners that sail with the Company’s fleet are trained and actively involved with self-sustaining operations in isolated environments that require using the ship’s gear as opposed to onshore labor to load and discharge. The specialized nature of the Company’s business requires and facilitates the training of highly qualified American seafarers. Additional information is available at www.usocean.com.
