The US General Services Administration’s mission is to deliver value and savings in real estate, acquisition, technology, and other mission-support services across government. GSA’s expertise in government workplace solutions include:

• Effective management of government assets including more than 8,800 government-owned or leased buildings, and over 225,000 vehicles in the federal fleet, and preservation of historic federal properties • Leveraging the government’s buying power through responsible acquisition of products and services making up approximately 14 percent of the government’s total procurement dollars • Providing innovative technology solutions to enhance government efficiency and increase citizen engagement • Promoting responsible use of federal resources through development of government-wide policies ranging from federal travel to property and management practices

The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) provides the best value services, products, and solutions to customers and increases overall government effectiveness and efficiency. FAS has four business portfolios: Information Technology Category; Assisted Acquisition Services; General Supplies and Services; and Travel, Transportation and Logistics. FAS makes it possible for GSA to deliver excellent acquisition services efficiently and effectively, while providing value to federal customers and the taxpayer.

The Office of Travel, Employee Relocation and Transportation Services (T&T) offers enterprise-wide, government-wide, solutions using an integrated shared services strategy. T&T provides the subject matter expertise and procurement support so customers can stay focused on their mission.

T&T manages travel programs that are used by over 100 agencies and bureaus and thousands of travelers for air, hotel, online travel management, and data reporting to support customer agencies to efficiently manage their travel spend. The E-Gov Travel Service (ETS), an end-to-end, online travel management service consolidated and transformed travel-and-expense management to a single platform that integrates all of the programs for distribution. To include the airline City Pair Program, which has expanded to more than 11,000 markets, fares offered are discounted considerably off comparable commercial fares, and allow government travelers benefits of no advance purchase, fully refundable tickets, and last seat availability. ETS also provides access to the FedRooms lodging program with nearly 8,900 properties world-wide, all approved by the FEMA with rates at or below per diem.

GSA’s Employee Relocation Resource Center (ERRC) provides relocation services through the implementation of government-wide tools for homesale assistance and household goods transportation. The ERRC offers a streamlined procurement process with flexible programs, subject matter expertise, and program support. Furthermore, ERRC helps agencies to develop procurement strategies and to implement service-effective and cost-efficient programs tailored to each individual agency’s mission, culture, philosophy and budget. MAS Schedule SIN 531 assists federal agencies offering relocation benefits for employees and their families, including: move management services, home sale services, property management, and relocation software. The Centralized Household Goods Traffic Management Program (CHAMP) is a tender procurement method allowing quick and easy access to highly competitive rates for household goods shipment services. Transportation offers a multimodal freight program which provides online booking of freight shipments with approved Transportation Service Providers through the Transportation Management Services Solution.
