First BriefTo design affordable and beautiful flower vases under â‚š 2000

Re defined Brief To design a table top flower vase that breaks the monotony of a regular vase; geometric and playful with an alternative from a utility aspect.

Product should give a user break from the monotonous surroundings and can help them to feel relaxed and cheerful at work.

Keywords: Playful, interaction, arrangements, utility, geometric shapes and forms, golden ratio, asymmetrical, vibrant primary colours, light and shadow.

Staatliches Bauhaus (1919-1933) Bauhaus was an institution founded by a German architect Walter Gropius with an intent of connecting arts and crafts with design.

Institution gained the ground of a movement as people started appreciating the simplicity and functionality in everyday objects eliminating the use of ‘decoration’.

• Prominent use of Primary Colours along with black and greys.

• Production friendly designs • Denial to ornamentation.

• Abstract yet balanced composition of forms and objects.

Each bowl can be placed in any axis parallel to the base.

Colours on each planet are symbolic of Indian Astronomical beliefs that are subjected to the nine gems recommended according to the sun signs.

Thin lines are marked on the flange that depict the magnetic waves of the planet.

Concept 2: 9th Phi

Product explores the law of symmetric balance or the golden ratio that was prominent in the products of Bauhaus.

Alternatively, the base can also be used for Keeping basic stationary items when vase is not in use.
