Thursday Issue

4th year of the Taylor & Francis India’s Green Week is about to finish. Yesterday, we followed our tradition of “Create from Waste” while reading the special issue on “Waste Not Water”. Today through this newsletter, we are going to reiterate the mantra “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. Our partner JAAGRUTI will deliver a speech today on “Paper Conservation” and a “Green Skit” will be presented by the Green Heroes. I believe most of the Indian Households unconsciously reduce, reuse and recycle things. Our mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers have given us a legacy of methods for saving, reusing and recycling natural resources. Even if your household is not one of them, be the creator of this legacy for your future generations, as “We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children”. I hope this issue will help you in this endeavor. Namita Singh, BIS Content Editor
