The commingle of the female face creates mood and intrigue. Amelie ‘the minx’ throws a beguiling stare while Honor ‘the mother figure’ is peaceful & wise. Faith ‘the thinker’ shows depth & patience whilst Ava ‘the heartbreaker” can seduce any man with one killer glance. With each of these four beautiful faces the complexity of emotion is evident.

Extensive research, design, design tweaks and evaluation was lovingly put in, to each and every fabric and colour-way in our new collection with a story behind every fabric, Burlesque... Strikes a pose and sets the scene for an attention grabbing collection. This bold and daring design takes a look at the female form in all its beauty, daring to be different, the intricacy of every detail from the floral additions, the emotional stares and individual styles sees the coming together of an eye catching statement fabric.

Taking inspiration from high-street to catwalk sees hand drawn faces coming through from fashion to home. T-shirts, dresses to handbags, cushions and wallpapers which have all been given the feminine sketched face treatment.

Posh it up Here at The View we enjoy the finer things in life and this summer we plan to indulge in a few traditional picnics with a difference. ‘Posh It Up’ is the name of the game.

Soggy sandwiches, warm pop and a squashed apple tart just won’t cut it at our swish picnic banquete.

The rules for a perfect picnic….

What to drinkHomemade is better; nothing quenches your thirst like a homemade batch of traditional lemonade…

For an alcoholic version, replace the elderflower cordial with 500ml gin.

Serves 10–20 - 8 unwaxed organic lemons, cut into chunks -300g caster sugar -150ml Elderflower cordial -Sprig of fresh mint 1. Put the lemons into a blender or food processor with 50g of sugar and 250ml of water. Blitz until smooth.

2. Pour the juice through a sieve into a jug and tip the lemon pulp back into the blender.

3. Add another 50g of sugar and 250ml of water and repeat the process until all the sugar has been used up.

4.Discard the pulp and stir the gin into the jug. Keep refrigerated until decanting into a chilled container and add a sprig of mint.

What to eatThink alfresco, crusty bread sliced, chunks of salami, slices of chorizo, ripe plum tomatoes, cheese, olives and pickled pimentos. Making sure you pack salt, pepper, butter, knives, plates and glasses.

Something sweet-

Forget about lugging a three-layer chocolate cake on your next picnic outing. Instead, pack an outdoor-friendly dessert in your cooler.

Choc-dipped strawberries, a simple dessert that is always a crowd pleaser and looks gorgeous on a dessert plate.

What to doWith the food sorted all you have to do is pick the perfect beauty spot, be it a dreamy meadow, an enchanting lake or park….And all that’s needed is a burst of sunshine!

A little bit further…Malta…
