Just imagine ... you’re an Israelite ... and you’ve been wandering in the wilderness for 40 years ... searching for the Promised Land ... you're standing on the bank of the Jordan River ...

. . and now is the time..

Joshua tells the people to watch and see how God would intervene for them

as they occupy the land He promised to give them, and then instructs the priests

At once, the waters stopped flowing, and the Israelites could cross safely to the other side.

As they crossed over, a representative of each of the twelve tribes of Israel gathered up a stone from the newly dry riverbed and they erected a monument to God's power and promise.

It has truly been inspiring to see how the vision God gave us for the CLC is being fulfilled.

And this was only the first two years!

Called to

Before moving to Lynnwood, Northwest Church completed a Phase One

capital campaign that raised $1.33 million to enable re-purposing of the building.

We obtained a 10-year mortgage with a balloon payment for the remainder.

We are now beginning Phase Two of the capital campaign to settle the remaining cost of the building.

It is wise stewardship to retire this debt as quickly as possible in order to be ready for what God has next for Northwest Church.

By finishing in five(5) years instead of ten(10), we will ultimately save $275,000 of interest that we never have to pay.

Doing this will be a significant challenge, but we believe God will multiply our contributions when all give as He leads us and enables us.

We are daring to dream and courageously pray for even more.

The absolute best scenario for ministry is to eliminate any need to use regular tithes and offerings for debt payments.

Currently, we pay $220,000 per year from the General Fund toward the cost of buying and renovating this building.

This limits the resources available for ministry.

We have opportunities to reach the Edmonds Community College campus, expand children’s programs during the week, and increase our global reach.

The sooner we finish these payments, the sooner these offerings are freed up to expand ministry and reach out even more effectively making a difference in the lives of the community!

This capital campaign is an opportunity for everyone at Northwest Church to join together, as we joyfully contribute to owning the Community Life Center.

God has entrusted us with a beautiful building to use as a tool for His mission.

God is already using the CLC in truly inspiring ways.

Let’s boldly pray and step out together on the next phase of this journey.
