Established in the summer of 1989, Deanshanger Colts & Girls Football Club is a thriving and inclusive community football club based in the heart of Deanshanger in Northamptonshire.

We are affiliated to the Northamptonshire Football Association as well as being a proud FA Charter Standard Club which is a scheme that aims to raise standards in the grassroots game. It also recognises and rewards commitment, quality and achievement.

We are proud to offer ‘football for all’, giving opportunities for all young people, regardless of their background or ability, to enjoy the beautiful game in a safe and supportive environment.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on the generous support of local businesses and individuals to help us provide the best possible experience for our players. By sponsoring our club, you will be helping us to cover the costs of equipment, travel, and other essential expenses, ensuring that

our young players have everything they need to succeed.

We have a range of sponsorship opportunities at varying levels starting from £50 so that we can make our club as accessible as possible – not only to the players who play here, but also to companies of all sizes who may be kind enough to consider supporting us.

We are also happy to discuss other sponsorship options and tailor our packages to meet your specific needs and budget.

Our members are so much more than a number to us, but when talking sponsorship, it’s important to know the size of club you’re investing in. So here’s a guide to the numbers involved in our club (all details correct, November 2023):

NUMBER OF PLAYING MEMBERS: 325 Our offering begins with dedicated training to the newest kids on the block at Under 6s and we continue supporting their development right up to Under 17s.

NON-PLAYING SUPPORTERS: 650+ From siblings to grandparents, and friends to uncles & aunts, we have a strong non-player support base with over 650 adults involved in supporting the club.

NUMBER OF AGE GROUPS: 16 Under 6s, Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 16s, Under 17s

NUMBER OF TEAMS: 24 (18 boys, 6 girls) 1 x U7s, 3 x U8s, 2 x U9s, 3 x U10s, 2 x U10 Girls, 2 x U11s, 2 x U12s, 2 x U12 Girls, 1 x U13s, 1 x U14s, 1 x U14 Girls, 1 x U15s, 1 x U15 Girls, 1 x U16s, 1 x U17s

NUMBER OF COACHES: 60 We have a minimum of one qualified coach at every age group and are actively encouraging the number of female coaches in our club.

NUMBER OF QUALIFIED OFFICIALS: 20 The game can’t be played without them and we have an active recruitment and training programme for our referees and officials.

NUMBER ON OUR COMMITTEE: 12 Overseeing the operations of our club, we have a committee made up of 12 volunteers including three people dedicated to the welfare of our players.

In September 2023, we forged an alliance with our U9 sponsors Home Instead, intertwining our collective strength to support a cause that was bigger than either of our communities.

They had an ambitious goal to supply 350 tins of canned food to the MK Food Bank’s ‘MK Can campaign – a bold attempt at breaking the world record for the longest line of tinned food – and this became our joint ambition.

Our community rallied together and a wonderful collaboration unfolded as we became the driving force behind the collection of nearly half of the cans that Home Instead went on to contribute.

Our collective efforts merged to lift the MK Food Bank to soaring heights, smashing the world record.

Together, we didn’t just break records; we created a legacy of solidarity, proving that the heartbeat of a community can indeed make a positive impact on the world.

We don’t believe in trials. We believe in Football for All which enables us to provide football for any age, gender, background and ability. Your sponsorship will allow us to keep monthly subs as some of the most competitive around, making the club as financially accessible as possible.

With a qualified coach at every age group we put the kids first and make sure that the level of coaching is delivered to the FA standard for grassroots.

SAFE, FRIENDLY & RESPECTFUL

To provide football for all children of all ages and abilities in a safe and friendly environment promoting good behaviour and respect for others.

We work on providing a team of Respect Marshalls at all home games to ensure that our values are being met by players, supporters and coaches of home and away teams.

We believe in long-term player development ahead of a win at all costs attitude.

Technical Partner @ £1500 + VAT (one year) We have invested into a VEO system which contributes directly to player development. We also use this for the benefit of our officials and recently invtested in a a technical package dedicated to help mentor our valued officials.

Equipment Partner @ £950 + VAT (one year) We spend over £2500 a year on equipment. Your sponsorship will help us to offset some of those costs.

Coach Development Partner @ £950 + VAT (one year) We spend over £2000 a year on coach development for the benefit of our volunteers and players. Your sponsorship will go towards helping us keep up our continued commitment to developing our coaches.

Mid Tier Sponsorship Opportunities

Two-Year Banner Advertising from £495 + VAT We have availability for 10 x banner advertising spots in a prominent position at our home ground in Deanshanger. These are community playing fields and are well-used by the village of Deanshanger.

We have five pitches in use at the ground with up to three games being played on each pitch on a Saturday.

This gives an average footfall of around 150 players plus their supporting adults and siblings over a weekend.

The ground is also used by Deanshanger Athletic Football Club which, whilst separate from the Colts, means that the ground gets another 30 adult players on a weekly basis which your banner will gain exposure from.

We are passionate about providing the Beautiful Game for the kids at our club, but it’s so much more than just football. Engaging in sport at a young age can contribute to holistic development, encompassing physical health, social skills, discipline, goal-setting, and emotional well-being.

We think the reasons behind playing are obvious, but here is why we believe that football is so much more than ‘just a game’.
