Axo 2011 MX combo THE 2011 Sport jersey is designed to fit under or over roost guards and provide unrestricted freedom of movement. The 100% lightweight polyester construction resists stains and odours and is completely machine washable, and the fully sublimated graphics are colour fast and resist fading. The unique and new for 2011 neck pattern will not ride up into the neck causing discomfort, and a longer tail panel helps the jersey to stay tucked in the pant. The back panel features a graphic large and open enough to accept all AMA and FIM required numbering and lettering. The Apple version is provided with a large side mesh area. The all new 2011 Nickel pants include features and construction once reserved for only the most expensive pants, the company says. By combining 600 denier Nylon thigh panels with punched Nylon blended thigh and crotch panels, the shell is comfortable and supportive. Unique stretch panels wrap the upper thigh, waist and inner thigh, while the company’s own slip fitting knee and thigh

pattern suspends the thigh from the knee allowing the knee panel to operate independently from the leg of the pants. A vented thigh TPR panel allows cooling air to circulate, while leather inner knee panels reduce heat and increase resistance, and 1000 Denier Cordura is layered over the rear of the pants. The 2011 AXO Padlock glove uses Nash Clarino on the palm and finger tips with a top wrist closure, while 4-way stretch Spandex is used on the cuff with a Slip Fit™knuckle pocket. The sonic welded TPR flexes over the knuckles and is welded to a vented Airprene panel. The fingers are covered with colour-fast breathable sublimated PolyNylon. Short, non-restrictive Lycra constructed finger fourchettes are combined with a “Hour Glass” shaped palm side finger for complete freedom of flex.

Shoei VFX-W MX helmet SHOEI’S lightweight VFX-W is designed to offer top-of-the-range protection, form-fitting comfort, cooling ventilation and components that are easy to care for, according to the company. Total weight is 1050g. The AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix) shell is designed to be lightweight, rigid and resilient and the helmet comes in four shell and five liner sizes to give the best possible fit. Aerodynamic properties include a flow-through ventilation system with cool air passing through the front intake vents and exhausted air through the rear vents by the force of negative air pressure. The 3D Max-Dry removable liner system absorbs and discharges moisture two times faster than traditional nylon, according to the company, and is thermo-moulded to match perfectly with the helmet interior. Cheek pads, upper liner and

chinstrap covers are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the cheek pads are available in a range of sizes for a personalised fit. A sleek visor provides improved airflow and is easily installed or removed with the use of three external screws, and it has an ergonomically shaped mudguard. The no-clog mouthpiece is designed to provide enhanced flow-through ventilation and has a removable, washable and replaceable filter, while a unique chinstrap clip keeps the strap from flapping. The VFX-W is ECE 22.05, DOT-218 and Snell-M2005 approved, and comes in a wide range of graphic and colour options.
