The creative team of DDM has decorated the entire exhibition with the iconic number “50”.

A new cultural perspective was created between Marmomacc and the beautiful Verona. DDM made the graphics for the map guides: an effective tool for the Verona citizens and tourists to know better the organization of the event. The project was curated by the architect Laura De Stefano and sponsored by the Ordine degli Architetti di Verona.

Si rinnova l’appuntamento culturale tra Marmomacc e la bellissima Città di Verona. DDM firma il progetto grafico e l’utilissima mappa guida: un efficace strumento per raccontare ai cittadini veronesi e ai turisti le tappe della mostra. Il progetto è curato dall’architetto Laura De Stefano e patrocinato dall’Ordine degli Architetti di Verona.

PING PONG PANG

BY SANTAMARGHERITA DESIGN: GIORGIO CANALE

The creative director of DDM Advertising renewed the relationship and collaboration with Santa Margherita, the leader in Verona of the manufacturing of quartz and marbles. With this new relationship was born “Ping Pong Pang,” a work that combines the demand for table tennis with references to the Turandot opera. The table was made with quartz. Certainly this ping pong table will make people talk.

Il Direttore Creativo di DDM ADVERTISING rinnova la collaborazione e il particolare rapporto di fiducia con l’azienda veronese Santamargherita, leader nella produzione di agglomerati di quarzo e marmo. Nasce così “Ping Pong Pang”, un’opera che intreccia le esigenze del tennis da tavolo e i riferimenti all’opera lirica Turandot. Realizzato interamente in quarzo è certamente un tavolo da ping pong che farà parlare.

MARMOMACC FIFTIETH EDITION GALA DINNER

DDM Advertising signed the creative project for the first dinner for the Marmomacc Gala, still pending.

The prestigious Palazzo della Granguardia at Verona hosted an exceptional audience from all over the world.

The graphic concept and the particular blue marble texture on the banners, large stage sets, graphics info and menus contribute to a particular and elegant atmosphere at the event.

L’agenzia DDM firma il progetto grafico e creativo della prima Cena di Gala Marmomacc mai realizzata.

La prestigiosa location del Palazzo della Granguardia -Verona - ha ospitato un parterre di eccezione proveniente da tutto il mondo. Il concept grafico e la particolare texture di marmo blu, declinati su banner, grandi quinte scenografiche, info grafica e menù, hanno contribuito all’atmosfera particolarmente elegante della serata.

NEW IN 2015: THE ITALIAN STONE THEATRE

For the first time DDM ADVERTISING has the pleasure to express their creativity to the group formed by Veronafiere, Marmomacc, Confindustria Marmomacchine, and ICE - Italian Trade Agency. With the support of the Minister of Economic Development it was possible to give life to the pavilion entirely dedicated to the excellence Italian’s marble. In addition, DDM signed the project for the new logo and the image of the pavilion.

Per la prima volta l’agenzia DDM ha l’onore e il piacere di esprimere la propria creatività per il gruppo formato da Veronafiere, Marmomacc, Confindustria Marmomacchine, e ICE – Italian Trade Agency. Con il supporto del Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico prende vita un padiglione interamente dedicato alle eccellenze italiane del marmo. DDM firma il progetto del nuovissimo logo e l’intera immagine del padiglione.

THE ITALIAN STONE THEATRE OFFICIAL CATALOGUE

The concept, design and production for the official catalog for the Italian Stone Theatre was created by the creative team of DDM ADVERTISING. It was a great responsibility for the agency to effectively represent the content of the pavilion by showing the best of creativity and production Made in Italy in the stone industry.

Affidati al team creativo DDM ADVERTISING il concept, la progettazione, nonchè la produzione del catalogo ufficiale dell’Italian Stone Theatre. Una grande responsabilità, quella a cui è stata chiamata l’agenzia, nel rappresentare in modo efficace i contenuti del padiglione rappresentativo del meglio della creatività e produzione Made in Italy nel settore lapideo.

To represent the image of Veronafiere, Marmomacc, Confindustria Marmomacchine and ICE - Italian Trade Agency, a small representative object in all its essence were the gifts. DDM signs the packaging for the micro creation of Raffaello Galiotto, this kind of creation was made of natural stone by Lithos Design.

Un oggetto piccolo curato in tutta la sua essenza, ricercatezza e know how tecnico. Questa in sintesi e`la descrizione dell’omaggio speciale che Veronafiere, Marmomacc, Confindustria Marmomacchine, e ICE – Italian Trade Agency – hanno voluto fare agli ospiti del padiglione italiano. DDM firma il packaging che ha saputo valorizzare le micro-opere di Raffaello Galiotto realizzate in pietra naturale da Lithos Design.

THE ITALIAN STONE THEATRE GRAPHIC DESIGN PROJECT

The graphics department of DDM ADVERTISING agency has supported the work of the two curators of the Italian pavilion - V. Pavan and R. Galiotto - creating a rich and complex graphic design. DDM has been able to find the key for optimal graphics and show visitors and international delegations to the 5 exhibitions in it: Lithic Vertigo, Carpets Of Stone, Digital Lithic Design ...

Il dipartimento grafico dell’agenzia DDM ADVERTISING ha supportato il lavoro dei due curatori del padiglione Italia - V. Pavan e R. Galiotto – realizzando un ricco e complesso progetto grafico.

DDM ha saputo trovare la chiave grafica ottimale per raccontare ai visitatori e alle delegazioni internazionali le 5 mostre in esso contenute: Lithic Vertigo, Carpets Of Stone, Digital Lithic Design…Ristorante d’Autore…e “W” WINE BAR, firmata dall’architetto Giorgio Canale.

“W” WINE BAR

BY SANTAMARGHERITA DESIGN GIORGIO CANALE

The long-term partnership between Santamargherita and the architect Giorgio Canale has led to the development of a unique interpretation of the “wine bar” theme. This project was titled “W”, a reference to “Viva il vino spumeggiante” (Here’s to frothing wine) – an aria from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana – and also a clear tribute to the beauties on display: wine, and especially the works of Manara.

Comic master Milo Manara spiced up the wine bar with his charming watercolours, faithfully transferred onto quartz agglomerate slabs using an innovative technique. “W” breaks the mould of a closed circle and expands its boundaries to reach into the exhibition spaces of the Italian Stone Theatre.

La lunga collaborazione tra l’azienda Santamargherita e l’architetto Giorgio Canale si consolida nell’interpretazione del tema wine bar. “W” è il nome attribuito al concept, con riferimento all’aria “Viva il vino spumeggiante” dalla Cavalleria Rusticana di Mascagni, chiaro tributo alle bellezze esposte: il vino e, ancor di più, le opere di Manara.

Il maestro del fumetto Milo Manara ha vestito la Wine Bar con la magia dei suoi acquerelli, trasferiti fedelmente sulle lastre di agglomerato di quarzo tramite una tecnica innovativa. “W” rompe gli schemi di un ambiente chiuso e allarga i propri confini, aprendosi agli spazi espositivi dell’Italian Stone Theatre.

PIED-DE-POULE

BY CERESER DESIGN GIORGIO CANALE

As John Dunbar Telfer explained in The Costume of Scotland, HOUNDSTOOTH originated in Scotland as a woven-wool fabric, which Christian Dior made into a symbol class and elegance between the late 40s and early 50s. Reinterpreted by some of fashion’s biggest names over the years – Chanel, Gucci, Ferragamo, Marni, Moschino and Alexander McQueen – architect Canale is now reproducing it in an oversized version.

Canale chose a simple way to emphasise the versatility of natural stone, proving that it is not only suitable for applications in classic environments.

Nato in Scozia – come afferma John Dunbar Telfer (The Costume of Scotland) – dall’intreccio di fili di lana, il PIED-DE-POULE fu consacrato da Christian Dior, tra la fine degli anni 40 ed i primi anni 50, come simbolo di classe ed eleganza. Riproposto nel corso degli anni dai nomi più importanti della moda – Chanel, Gucci, Ferragamo, Marni, Moschino e Alexander McQueen – viene presentato dall’architetto Canale in una versione maxi. Un modo semplice per ribadire la duttilità della pietra naturale, troppo spesso erroneamente considerata adatta solo ad applicazioni in ambienti dal gusto classico.

CASA SANTAMARGHERITA ORIGINAL PROJECT BY GIORGIO CANALE

Unconventional atmosphere, elegant yet casual, what the architect Canale has recreated in the new stand Santamargherita for attending Marmomacc 2015. The idea came from wanting to design a family-like environment: a home and its great white arbor. Characterized by a cascade of ivy and dozens of large bulbs, welcomed the guests and hosted Santamargherita appointments trade fair. Simple in form, but particularly in the context of the original exhibition, the project is particularly appreciated by the industry and the International press.

Un’atmosfera non convenzionale, elegante ma informale, quella che l’architetto Canale ha saputo ricreare nel nuovo stand Santamargherita per la partecipazione a Marmomacc 2015. L’idea nasce dal voler progettare un ambiente familiare, una casa e il suo grandissimo pergolato bianco. Caratterizzato da una cascata di edera e decine di grandi lampadine, ha accolto i clienti Santamargherita e ospitato gli appuntamenti commerciali in fiera. Semplice nelle forme, ma particolarmente originale nel contesto fieristico, il progetto è stato particolarmente apprezzato dagli operatori del settore e dalla stampa internazionale.

These are the guidelines that have driven the design of the new stand presented at Marmomacc 2015. Heart of the whole installation and the new video, which was also signed DDM ADVERTISING. Uno stand in grado di sottolineare l’essenza dell’azienda CERESER, in un’edizione che rappresenta il raggiungimento di un importante traguardo: i 50 anni di attività. Queste le linee guida che hanno mosso la progettazione del nuovo stand presentato a Marmomacc 2015. Cuore dell’intera installazione il nuovissimo video, anch’esso firmato DDM ADVERTISING.

CERESER ONE NIGHT, ONE LIFE GALA DINNER

A long night followed to celebrate the success and achievements of a lifetime. CERESER and DDM collaborated again on a special project: organizing a gala dinner to celebrate the fifty years. The warehouse and showroom have been expertly converted by the Channel in a great hall receptions hosted 600 friends, customers and partners from around the world Una lunga notte per festeggiare i successi e i traguardi di una vita. CERESER e DDM ancora una volta insieme per un progetto speciale: l’organizzazione di una Cena di Gala per festeggiare i cinquant’anni di attività. Il capannone e gli showroom dell’azienda sono stati sapientemente trasformati dall’architetto Canale in una grandissima sala da ricevimenti che ha ospitato 600 amici, clienti e partner provenienti da tutto il mondo.

CERESER PRESENTS: DARE TO LIVE AN ORIGINAL SHOW BY DDM ADVERTISING

When the agreement between customer and agency is great, you can reach results that can make their mark.

This is the case of “DARE TO LIVE” an original show entirely conceived by the agency of communication DDM ADVERTISING and architect Giorgio Canale who, for the occasion, played the role of director. Performers of International renown have followed in a vortex of emotions around the theme of “life”, with the support of a scenography maxi projections to 270°. There have been surprises, such as those encouraged by the show of dancing fountains and fire that ended the show.

Quando l’intesa tra clienti e agenzia è grande, si raggiungono risultati in grado di lasciare il segno. È il caso di “DARE TO LIVE” uno spettacolo originale interamente concepito dall’agenzia di comunicazione DDM ADVERTISING e dall’architetto Giorgio Canale che, per l’occasione, ha vestito i panni di regista.

Performers di fama internazionale si sono susseguiti in un vortice di emozioni attorno al tema della “vita”, con il supporto di un impianto scenografico di maxi proiezioni a 270°. Non sono mancate le sorprese, come quelle stimolate dallo spettacolo di fontane danzanti e fuoco che ha concluso lo show.
