The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT), a 135-year-old organization in 2025, has evolved from 50 members to a global membership of over 575 Member Companies in the Bio/Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This growth is a testament to our members’ collective efforts and dedication, making each of you an integral part of our success.
As the Executive Director of the DCAT Organization, it is my honor to welcome all of you to DCAT Week 2025 on behalf of the Board of Directors, Volunteer Committees and DCAT Team. DCAT Week represents the culmination of our shared commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing value chain and remains the industry’s premier event. This year will feature a dynamic agenda designed to address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, featuring insightful keynote presentations, engaging panel discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities.
Looking ahead, the DCAT Summit will return to the picturesque Lugano, Switzerland, for Expedition Pharma: Innovation from a Patient-First Perspective from June 4-5, 2025, an education and networking event that will explore the industry’s most significant challenges today – from global drug shortages and supply chain disruptions to drug pricing and access, sustainability imperatives, the influence of AI, shifting investment paradigms, and advancing technology – all from the lens of patient impact and outcomes.
We are excited to host the Scholarship Golf Outing in Princeton, New Jersey, on June 23. This fun and engaging event is not just about golf and networking but about supporting the next generation of industry professionals. Then in the fall we return to Europe for our annual After the Show networking reception in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 29, an excellent opportunity for DCAT members to unwind and connect after CPhI. We hope to see many of you at these in-person events.
Keep an eye on DCAT Weekly, our e-newsletter delivered every Tuesday. It is designed to keep members informed of the programs and events we plan throughout the year. Each initiative is designed to provide ongoing opportunities for professional development, collaboration, and exchanging ideas critical to advancing the industry.
