From the president

Deering Bay Members,

As we close the successful winter season and enter the quieter summer months, I want to take a moment to update you on the exciting progress and developments at our club. Having been a member of Deering Bay for 20 years, I can confidently say the club has never been in better shape.

As President, I’m proud of our management team’s progress in their steadfast pursuit of elevating the member experience. I am confident in the composition and strength of our current Board. Everyone is committed to being accountable and doing what is best for the Club, and we are working well together. Looking ahead, it is important that we ensure a modern governance structure that supports and guides our management team. Three key priorities are currently front and center.

Ground Lease: As most everyone knows, the entirety of holes 10-17, and a portion of holes 6 and 7, are used by the Club based on a long-term Land Lease with Miami-Dade County that began long before the Club was established. Over the years, there have been changes in local laws and regulations that impact the County’s ability to renew or extend existing leases, or enter into new leases, of County-owned land. The Land Lease currently expires in 2030. We have an excellent team comprised of board members, legal partners, community leaders and local officials, supporting our interests to solidify a new long-term agreement. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and I am confident that we have the right team and resources in place to resolve this important matter. I expect to further update everyone on our progress at the annual meeting in December.

By-Laws: In keeping with industry best practices, formal review of Club By-Laws is recommended every seven years to ensure compliance with current legal standards and good governance principles. Our existing By-Laws were last amended in 2018. The By-Laws Committee, working with outside counsel, is in the process of reviewing them and expects to propose a Restated and Amended set for approval at the December annual meeting.

Strategic Planning: Strategic Planning is a collaborative effort. In conjunction with the work of our Committees, Joe and Scott have reviewed and refined all current capital projects, costs, and projections. We now have a clear roadmap for the years ahead. I’m excited to begin discussing additional opportunities to invest in capital improvements across all areas of membership building on the $14 million invested in clubhouse enhancements over the past five years. This year alone, we will invest another $3 million to renovate the locker rooms, upgrade the elevators, and modernize the golf shop bringing total capital improvements to over $17 million. Specific to the golf course, please note that any renovation plans will be contingent upon successfully concluding the Land Lease matter.

From the president

June 17th marks the one-year anniversary of our General Manager and COO, Scott. His impact has been nothing short of transformative. I encourage you to read his letter in this issue, which outlines the tremendous progress made under his leadership If you have not yet personally met Scott, I highly recommend you do so. Scott has fostered a strong and caring culture, supported by an evolving and capable leadership team. His restructuring of the Food & Beverage department along with the hiring of Chef Dan and the promotions of Amanda and Camilla have been pivotal. I am confident this team will continue to elevate the club’s dining experience.

The addition of Joe to lead the finance team last fall has brought much-needed transparency and consistency. At the April Town Hall, we presented a robust 2025 plan, the results of a forensic audit, and cleaned-up financials from the past three years. Joe’s improved reporting tools now position us to manage seasonal fluctuations more effectively and strategically plan for the coming winter.

Communication and transparency remain top priorities. From Town Halls, Newsletters, Scott’s Club Corner, Weekly Email Updates to Amanda’s Member Experience emails, Club IQ, and oneon-one sessions the management team is listening and responding to member feedback with care and attentiveness.

You, our fellow members, play a vital role in our journey. I encourage you to continue sharing your feedback with Scott and his team, and to support the committee structure. As members, it’s important we each contribute positively to the strong culture we’ve built. Together, we’re building something truly special at Deering Bay.

Warm regards,

general manager

Members,

I joined the team one year ago on June 17, 2024.

What a year it has been. From day one, our leadership team quickly aligned to identify both important work and a list of priorities Developing trust and focusing on consistent communication was our first order of business as a group Working together, our leaders have prioritized listening with effect and to responding in a timely manner. Your observations and feedback have been important to our team to gain insight and inform us about what matters to you and your family.

Change has been a constant. In each instance, we have led with care. We have four new department head leaders; each of them adapting to their roles with my support and the shared enthusiasm of our team.

As presented at the April Town Hall, the conclusion of a forensic audit and the financial reimbursement made to the club were two critical and time-consuming processes. We developed a 2025 budget that we felt was both ambitious and, yet, achievable. Our leadership team has risen to the challenge, and I can report that through April 30, 2025; the club financials are strong and operating results YTD are in line with budget. We are also close to full membership of 525; which will result in a wait list. Our department leaders deserve praise for these early results.

If by year end 2025 we achieve our operating budget, it will be a big turnaround and improvement to last year, reflecting what can be achieved with effective leadership and accountability This will not be easy Our tactics to achieve this include one of our most important learnings, the necessity of a seasonal financial framework. June through September are the most important and challenging months in 2025. We have an aggressive plan for operational savings without compromising service.

You’ve heard me say before,

“While our service is always friendly, we can improve, and we do need to be more consistent. Quality of food is good, but it can be better. I believe we can be more creative, innovative, and fun. We should be more dynamic with programming. Simply put, we need to broaden appeal to membership.”

We are in a stronger position than a year ago. Our team is focused on reinventing dining, events, and programming, in a meaningfully way. This summer we will be focused on service training, project management, while at the same time working to achieve our financial goals. We have a good plan, and we now have the right leaders in place. It is going to be a busy summer.

Thanks to you, we are fortunate to have Members, Committees, and a Board, that trust and support us to achieve our goals The responsibility to elevate the member experience is important On behalf of our team, I again thank you for your trust and wish to assure you that we are excited about all the great things to come, making you want to spend more time at your club.

Stay cool this summer and we will remain in touch.

This season, our focus is not just on excellence but redefining it. We’ve embraced a new chapter of service, a vision for luxury and community, and we want you to be part of it.

At the center of our transformation is the much-anticipated debut of our reimagined locker rooms, designed to deliver modern comfort and timeless elegance. Shared Shoe Valet and a state-of-the-art golf simulator will be available to all members, adding convenience and recreation to your clubhouse visits.

For our ladies, we’re proud to unveil an expanded card space, a rejuvenating infrared sauna, a serene quiet room, and a versatile meeting space that opens onto a beautifully appointed terrace perfect for gatherings or moments of peaceful solitude. Also a versatile space to host an indoor/outdoor social event.

For our gentlemen, the new locker room will include a refined gentlemen’s bar, an inviting poker room, and a west-facing terrace ideal for taking in breathtaking sunsets after a round of golf or a spirited match.

Connecting both spaces will be the Champions Lounge, formally the hallway on the 3 floor, redesigned as a tasteful and timeless tribute to the legacy and history of Deering Bay. Here, our community’s past, present, and future will come together in a space designed for connection, celebration, and pride. rd

Golf

As we wrap up another incredible season here at Deering Bay, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our Women’s Golf Association and Junior Golf programs such a success.

Our Women’s Golf Association had an outstanding year filled with competitive events, themed tournaments, and, most importantly, a strong sense of community and support. From weekly play to special events, it was amazing to see the passion and improvement from so many of our ladies throughout the season. Your enthusiasm is what makes this group so special. I would like to extend a special thank you to our Newbies Golf Program which has grown from a small group of 7-8 ladies to a community of 51! I feel very optimistic about the future of women’s golf here at Deering Bay.

As part of our end-of-season wrap-up for the Women’s Golf Association, we highlighted the most improved female golfers of the 2024–2025 season. It was great to see how much progress was made, with several players significantly lowering their handicaps. I’d also like to take a moment to recognize both the men’s and women’s most improved players:

Men’s Most Improved:

o Trevor Tingle – Sept. 2nd Handicap: +1.9, May 26th Handicap +4.5

o Jonathan Dresnick – Sept. 2nd Handicap: 4.9, May 26th Handicap: 0.7

o Seth Kaplan - Sept. 2nd Handicap: 30, May 26th Handicap: 23.7

Women’s Most Improved:

o Karen Kulvin - Sept. 2nd Handicap: 54, May 26th Handicap: 47.2

o Eileen Alvo – Sept. 2nd Handicap: 32.6, May 26th Handicap: 28.2

o Sue Solesbury - Sept. 2nd Handicap: 25.4, May 26th Handicap: 22.1

On the junior side, it was equally exciting to witness the growth of our young golfers. From first-time swings to tournament-ready confidence, our Junior Golf Program continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of our players and the support of their families. One of the biggest realizations I had this season was seeing the 40 + people in attendance for our latest Adult-Child Scramble. I remember when I first arrived at Deering Bay our Adult-Child Scramble had 16 people in attendance. I am so excited by the progress and involvement of our Deering Bay families in our Junior Program. I am also excited to have some excellent professional staff (Caden Wolfson and Logan Peterson) to lean on to help deliver fun, engaging, and informative instruction.

Thank you all for making this season one to remember. I’m already looking forward to what next year will bring!

LOGANPETERSON

ASSISTANTGOLFPROFFESIONAL

Thank you to all the ladies who joined us for our first-ever Women’s Golf Academy! Over two full days, we covered every aspect of the game from putting and chipping to ball striking, bunker play, and on-course strategy. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm, camaraderie, and improvement from each of you throughout the weekend.

A special highlight was our Operation 36 on-course session, where participants put their skills to the test in a fun and competitive format. We hope this session leads to lower scores in next season’s Women’s Golf Association events!

Whether you were mastering bunker shots, dialing in your tempo, or learning to manage your way around the course more effectively, I hope you walked away with more confidence and a deeper love for the game. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch so many of you improve and enjoy the game more with each round. The dedication, camaraderie, and enthusiasm I’ve seen on the course have truly made an impression.

As an aside, my first few months here at Deering Bay have been amazing. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me with open arms. I already feel like part of the Deering Bay community, and that means a lot. From early morning lessons to late afternoon rounds, every interaction has helped me feel right at home.

I’m excited for my first full season and will be using the summer months to plan and prepare for a fantastic 2025–2026 season. I have a lot of new ideas in the works, and I’m truly grateful to be part of the golf professional team here. I look forward to growing with all of you.

Women’s Golf Academy: A Firsthand Experience from Mrs. Amparo Alvarez

When Mrs. Amparo Alvarez signed up for the Women’s Golf Academy, she wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What she found over the course of two days was more than just a skills clinic it was a transformative experience filled with expert instruction, personal breakthroughs, and meaningful connections. As we look ahead to our next session in the fall, we’re excited to share her testimonial to inspire others who may be considering joining. Here's what she had to say:

“I attended the two-day Golf Academy without knowing exactly what I would get out of it but I’m so glad I went. Now, I can confidently share my experience with any ladies thinking about signing up this fall. Over the two days, our incredible instructors Craig, John, and Logan walked us through every key aspect of the game. We worked on putting, chipping, pitching, and how to properly strike woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, and the putter. We were split into smaller groups, which allowed for meaningful one-on-one instruction throughout the clinic. On the second day, we played as foursomes, each with an instructor who guided us through approach shots and gave us personalized tips on technique and ball striking. It felt like a private lesson within a team setting. Not only did I leave the academy with new skills and greater confidence on the course, but also with a sense of camaraderie and new friendships. Thank you, Craig, John, and Logan, for an unforgettable experience. I know I’m a better golfer and I had a lot of fun getting there.”

Golf Course

Dear Members,

Following a successful season, we've now entered our first scheduled course closure of the summer. The aerification work completed this week plays a key role in keeping the course performing at a high level as we head into next season. I wanted to take this opportunity to share how our team at Deering Bay approaches aerification a bit differently than most through a more thoughtful and refined strategy that sets us apart.

A Smarter Approach to Aerification

As many of you probably already know, aerification is the process of punching holes into the turf to relieve compaction, improve drainage, and manage organic matter in the soil. The tool used to make these holes is called a tine a metal spike with a hollow core and open-ended bottom that penetrates the surface to extract a core of soil and thatch.

Most golf courses use large-diameter tines during aeration to remove built-up organic material from the top few inches of the greens. While this can be effective at removing some material, it often creates a cycle: aggressive fertilizer applications follow to promote quick recovery, which then adds even more organic matter right back into the profile. Even in an ideal scenario, large tines remove only about 8% of the surface material meaning 92% remains and is then fertilized, accelerating buildup rather than solving it

What many of you may not know is that at Deering Bay, we take a more sustainable and measured approach. We use smaller diameter tines and apply no additional nitrogen during aerification. Our goal is true removal, not regrowth stimulation. Because we carefully limit nitrogen inputs throughout the year, we don’t need to rely on fertilizer to heal large voids. This allows us to maintain firmer, better-draining greens that are more resistant to disease pressure and more consistent in playability.

Golf Course

This strategy has been in place for over four years Based on our internal testing, we’ve seen a gradual but measurable reduction in organic matter levels exactly the result we’re targeting.

That said, balance is key. A greens profile with too little organic matter can become just as problematic, leading to reduced moisture retention, increased nematode activity, and diminished surface performance. In the future, we may fine-tune our approach even further, possibly shifting to even smaller tines or adjusting our frequency to avoid over-removal While organic matter management is a major benefit of aerification, the practice also remains essential for other reasons, such as relieving soil compaction and promoting healthy gas exchange within the root zone.

Timing Is Everything

In past years, our first closure typically occurred during the first week of June, which historically brings high chances of rain. Over the years, these early-June closures often turned into a race against weather, just to get the greens aerified in time.

This year, we took a data-driven approach. By analyzing 10 years of local weather trends, we identified this week as a historically drier window and we’ve seen the benefits firsthand. A bit of good luck paired with solid data paid off.

With the favorable weather, four days was enough to accomplish aerating and topdressing both greens and tees, along with verticutting and double circle cutting all fairways and approaches.

We’re incredibly proud of our team for making the most of this weather window. Their dedication, long hours, and hard work in the heat made this a successful and productive closure.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or feedback.

Behind the greens

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding golf course maintenance team. Your hard work, attention to detail, and dedication keep Deering Bay looking its best every day. We truly appreciate all that you do!

Special thanks to Fernando for sharing these stunning photos of our beautiful course! Your eye for capturing Deering Bay’s natural beauty helps showcase the incredible work of our team and the unique charm of our grounds

Now, as we enter Summer 2025, I’m honored to write to our membership in a new role: Assistant Food & Beverage Director. It has been such a pleasure to share my journey of growth with the members and team here at Deering Bay.

Since stepping into this new role, it’s been a joy to host hundreds of members at wonderful events including our Easter Brunch Buffet, Mother’s Day Buffet, and most recently, our Memorial Day Cookout. I’m incredibly lucky to work alongside Amanda Silver, our Clubhouse Director, and Daniel Scannell, our new Executive Chef & Director of Culinary Experience. Together they bring bright, innovative ideas that are helping elevate the dining experience at the Club. I look forward to continuing this journey with them as we create a bit of culinary magic together.

As we approach the dog days of summer, things may seem to slow down on the surface in Food & Beverage and Events but behind the scenes, the team has plenty of exciting plans we have cooking and eager to serve you this season!

I want to share a few updates for the summertime and invite your feedback to help us continue our upward trajectory. Based on an extensive review of Club activity and dining, we found that Tuesdays are particularly quiet at the Bay. As a result, we’ve decided to close dining services on Tuesdays to allow for focused, in-depth staff training, and to reduce inherent F&B losses.

Planning to stop by the club on a Tuesday? No worries! A beverage cart attendant will be available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering drinks and snacks, along with some convenient grab-and-go options.

Using the same data, we also determined that keeping the 19th Hole open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as these are the busiest days for the golf course, racquet courts, and pool. With summer heat in full swing, South Florida temperatures typically in the high 90s and feeling even hotter with humidity, we encourage members to enjoy our casual poolside eatery on the weekends to relax with a refreshing drink or bite to eat after a game or a dip in the pool.

While our service team is ready and willing to go above and beyond, we know there is room for growth to meet the highest club standards. Candidly, we need to be better and consistent.

Food & Beverage

Training topics this summer will include wine knowledge, cocktail creativity, steps of service, menu and food comprehension, communication, safety, sanitation, and more. With the support of our dedicated restaurant and bar managers, Jorge Delgado, Kevin Hull, Christian Carroll, Codie Dillashaw, and myself, together we are taking meaningful steps to enhance member satisfaction.

Be sure to swing by the Clubhouse on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enjoy our newly extended Weekend Brunch. Brunch is a favorite, and with its growing popularity, we love how it has expanded beyond Sundays to become a full weekend experience.

Notice I say “experience,” not just “menu.” To me, brunch is about enjoying leisurely weekend moments without judgment if you’re having a mimosa with your burger or pancakes at 2 p.m.

As many of our members head north for the summer, we’re piloting a new feature of offering delivery to non-member residents of Deering Bay Members can continue to enjoy the benefits of ordering takeout from any menu at any time or opt for delivery Wednesday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., to their buildings within the community. Non-member residents can order from a limited menu at premium prices and also receive delivery only during those same hours. By expanding our delivery base, we hope to keep more of our team working and reduce food waste during this slower season. And again, this is a tactic to reduce the losses in F&B. Please note that residents will have fewer menu options, additional service fees, and will not have the option of pickup at the Club The delivery fee for both members and residents is $20. Members will have preferred pricing.

In case you haven’t yet Googled Chef Daniel Scannell, let me share a bit about this culinary powerhouse. He’s one of only 64 Certified American Master Chefs, a Certified Global Master Chef, and a decorated Team USA culinary Olympian. The accolades go on! A sweet surprise - Chef Daniel also holds an Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales We’re thrilled to see what he has in store for us made from scratch, beginning with a new dessert menu that’s sure to impress. His Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding with whiskey caramel sauce had members in dessert heaven, and my personal favorite, the Key Lime Pots de Crème with a hidden mango twist, is already a hit. Chef Daniel will also be unveiling new lunch and dinner menu items soon but as they say, “life is short, eat dessert first.”

Stay tuned to see all the Food and Beverage team has in store for our members, this summer and beyond!

Coming Attractions 2025 MY PHILOSOPHY ON FOOD

As the world’s population continues to grow and humanities resources continue to diminish, constant care must be a priority within the food-service industry. Proper food handling is essential to minimize waste and the potential for food-borne illness. It is therefore our responsibility as food-service professionals to do all we can to protect our most essential resource, food.

Back to the basics will and should be our primary focus as chefs, cooks, and hospitality professionals. Fostering a positive image will depend on solid culinary preparations, strategic planning with emphasis on cross departmental collaboration, freshness and quality.

As the newest member of the Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club Crew it gives me great pleasure to assist in building a world class culinary program led by General Manager Scott Mason and our dedicated management staff. My mission for the next year is to trouble shoot operations and raise the bar as it pertains to the member and guest experience.

Also, moving forward as part of my monthly communications, “Coming Attractions”. I will be offering Chef Quick Tips as it relates to the home enthusiast. Along with monthly specials as we build a new culinary portfolio and proposed new menu offerings.

This month’s quick tip is! As stated by Hippocrates (460 bce-375 bce), often referred to as the “Father of Medicine,” (“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”)

Savoring the Season – A Slow Sip into Summer

Dear Valued Members,

As we wrap up a lively and full spring season, we want to take a moment to thank you for making it such a memorable one. From new wine releases to cocktail pairings and packed tasting nights, the energy and enthusiasm you brought to every glass poured truly made this season special

Now, as we ease into the slower rhythms of summer, we’re embracing the opportunity to catch our breath, savor the moment, and begin quietly preparing for what’s to come. While things may feel a bit more laidback over the next couple of months, we’ll still be here offering a curated selection of summer sips and light and refreshing cocktails.

This slower season is also our time to reflect, refine, and get ready. Behind the scenes, we’re already planning exciting offerings for the fall, including new wines, updated cocktail menus, and fresh events that we can't wait to share with you.

So, whether you’re stopping in for a summer spritz, picking up a bottle for a weekend getaway, or just enjoying a quiet moment at the bar, we’re glad to be part of your season.

Cheers to a well-earned pause, and to what’s next.

Rosé of the Summer

Rosé from the Rhône region in France is all about fresh, fruity vibes with a little bit of spice. Made from grapes like Grenache and Syrah, these wines are light, crisp, and super easy to drink. You’ll get flavors of strawberries and raspberries with a touch of herbs that give it a nice kick. Perfect for sunny days, casual dinners, or just chilling with friends, Rhône rosé is a great choice if you want something flavorful but not too heavy.

racquet sports

Members,

Summer is here and we hope it finds you all in good health and spirits. We would like to thank all the tennis members for their continue support to the tennis program as well as congratulate all the Deering’s teams in their efforts and accomplishments. We feel very proud of them and because of their hard work and perseverance our club is once again one of the top tennis programs in town.

As a lot of members are going away for vacation, here at Deering we are getting ready to start our summer tennis program. We will continue offering different clinics, round robins, and a kids’ summer camp as follows:

Ladies’ clinics are on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30am to 11:00am.

Ladies’ round robins are on Wednesdays 9:30am to 11am. Men’s clinics are on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Kids’ summer camp is Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 11:45am.

In addition to these clinics, we offer private lessons all week. For reservations and more information please call the tennis shop 305-256-3366. The tennis shop’s summer hours are: Monday from 4pm to 10pm Tuesday through Friday from 8:30am to 10pm Saturday & Sunday from 8:30am to 4pm.

Once again one of our priorities this year is to keep the courts in the best condition, that is why early in June, we are starting the tennis court fence replacement project.

Please stay informed by the tennis staff as we will have a reduced number of tennis courts available for play over the next three months. This work will not affect the pickleball courts.

On behalf of the tennis department, have a good and safe summer!!

Facility & engineering

Members,

As we head into the heart of summer, I’m pleased to share some recent updates and ongoing initiatives from the Engineering and Facilities team that help keep our property running smoothly, looking sharp, and feeling welcoming.

First, we’re excited to welcome a new team member, Armando, who recently graduated from HVAC trade school. Armando has already shown great promise and is quickly becoming a valuable part of our team.

We’d also like to give a big shoutout to Rolando, a dedicated team member who has gone above and beyond this season. His hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining the club’s beauty have not gone unnoticed. From early mornings to late afternoons, Rolando consistently brings care and pride to everything he does. Thank you, Rolando, for your outstanding effort and for helping make the club a place we’re all proud of.

Our ongoing commitment to cleanliness and presentation continues, with weekly deep cleanings every Monday. These efforts focus on high-traffic areas including the courtyard, pool deck and furniture, the 19th Hole, and the valet ramp, ensuring all spaces remain inviting and well-maintained.

We’ve also made a number of improvements to enhance guest and staff experiences. New screens were installed at the 19th Hole, providing greater comfort and improving the overall look of the space for the busy summer months. In addition, new interior signage has been added throughout the building to improve wayfinding and elevate the property’s aesthetics. The Food & Beverage office also received a much-needed refresh, with new carpet, paint, and furniture creating a more comfortable and functional workspace.

Looking ahead, we have several exciting projects planned for the remainder of the summer. We’re currently in the process of installing new walk-in coolers and reach-in freezers, which will significantly enhance storage capacity and operational efficiency for the Food & Beverage department. New signage is also scheduled to be installed in the parking areas, including clearly marked signs for the pool, spa, and tennis facilities to improve navigation for guests. Lastly, the second floor is slated for a full refresh, with updated paint on the walls, baseboards, doors, and frames to help maintain the clean, welcoming environment we strive for throughout the property.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and are looking forward to completing these upcoming enhancements.

Communications coordinator

Dear Members,

I’m so excited to officially introduce myself as your new Communications Coordinator! As many of you know, Camilla, our previous Communications Manager, has stepped into a new role within the club, and I’m honored to have had the baton passed to me. After working as a hostess here for the past year and a half and recently graduating from college, I was promoted to this position in late April a transition that has already been incredibly rewarding and inspiring.

Stepping into this new role, I bring with me a deep appreciation for the club and its members, but also a fresh perspective and creative drive to build upon the amazing foundation already in place. One of the things I’m most excited about is to introduce new ideas & enhance our communications and marketing efforts. My intention as communications coordinator is to reflect what makes Deering Bay special through strategies that are innovative, projecting the ambiance and elegance we are known for.

This newsletter is actually my first one. I’ve truly enjoyed every minute of putting it together for you! It’s just the beginning of what I hope will be many more to come, and I can’t wait to see how our communications evolve. I’m especially passionate about turning the photos and videos from our most meaningful events into compelling stories stories that capture life at Deering Bay. The team and I want our content to not only inform, but mostly connect helping members relive cherished memories while inviting others to discover everything our beautiful club has to offer.

I’m looking forward to being more involved in day-to-day club life attending events, collaborating with other departments, and simply having more conversations with all of you. There’s so much heart and history here, and I’m grateful to play a part in telling that story through our club communications.

I’m sincerely thankful for the overwhelming support and kind words I’ve received from Jorge, Adi, Kevin, Amanda, Daniella, Camilla, Scott, and the entire main office team, as well as from my friends in Food & Beverage who have been a part of my journey here from the very beginning. Their encouragement and guidance have meant the world to me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a talented and supportive community.

Here’s to a new chapter at Deering Bay. I can’t wait to share what’s to come!
