Woody has been involved in the Morrison Athletic program for decades. In High School he was the manager for the basketball and football teams. He appeared on a Saturday radio show discussing and promoting Morrison football. He kept stats for the Morrison High School football team for 48 years and only missed 2 games. He called in all stats to newspapers after each game for a number of years in the late 60’s, into the 80’s. He also coached junior tackle football when the program first started. .
