WELCOME LETTER
On behalf of the staff and administration I would like to welcome you to Harlem High School and the 36th Dvorak Memorial Wrestling Invitational hosted by Harlem High School. We are excited to be hosting this premier event and we hope that your experience here at Harlem is a good one. If you need assistance, our staff will be more then happy to assist you in any way we can.
The Dvorak Invitational will showcase some of the best wrestlers in the state as well as teams from Wisconsin. The Dvorak has a strong following and we expect this year to be no different. The Dvorak is truly one of the best Invitationals in all the land.
As you enjoy the high quality of wrestling associated with the Dvorak please remember that sportsmanship should be displayed at all times from the wrestlers, from the coaches, and finally from the spectators in the stands. Please remember that athletics is an extension of the classroom and the educational process. It takes a good sport to make a good sport.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 20, 2024

• 9:00 am – Coaches Meeting (Commons)

SESSION 1
Session 1 (8 mats – 6 in the main gym, 2 in the adjacent Fieldhouse)
Round 1: Championship prelims - (# of matches dependent on entries)
Round 2: Championship 1 st Round – (112 matches)
Consolation 1 st Round - (# of matches dependent on entries)
Note: Three weight classes will wrestle entirely in the Fieldhouse on Day 1. There are bleachers in the Fieldhouse. The 3 weight classes will be determined before weigh-ins on the first day.
SESSION 2 (8 MATS)
Round 3: Consolation 2 nd Round – (approximately 112 matches) – 8 mats
Round 4: Championship Quarters – (56 matches) 6 mats
Consolation 3 rd Round – (56 matches) 8 mats
SUNDAY DECEMBER 21, 2024
• 7:30 am – Weigh- In (Fieldhouse)
• 9:00 am – Session 3
Session 3 (6 mats)
Round 5: Consolation 4 th Round – (56 matches)
Round 6: Semifinals & Consolation 5 th Round at the same time (3 mats each) - (56 matches)
Round 7: Consolation semi-finals (28 matches)
• A 30-minute break will be taken for the table workers if needed.
Session 4 - Place matches (6 mats) Followed by the finals.
Round 8: 3 rd , 5 th & 7 th Place matches
Round 9: Championship matches on 2 mats.
