Letter From The Winnebago High School Athletic Director
Dear Parents, Students, Alumni, and Community Members,
Welcome back to the start of the 2024-2025 School Year! I hope you enjoyed your off season training and summer vacations and are ready to get back to another successful school year At Winnebago High School we offer a variety of sports for our student athletes to compete in.
Fall Sports Offered: Boys and Girls Golf, Boys Soccer, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Cheerleading, and Football
Winter Sports Offered: Boys and Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Cheerleading
Spring Sports Offered: Boys and Girls Track and Field, Girls Soccer, Baseball, and Softball WHS also has a variety of clubs and activities for students to participate including Robotics and potentially a Bass fishing team for the spring of 2025.
The athletic programs offered at WHS play an essential role in teaching our young men and women to conduct themselves with respect, integrity, and honor. The mission of Bago Athletics is to strive for excellence, persevere through adversity, make sacrifices and compete with dignity and pride, while developing a commitment to teamwork and service to our school and community!
Our athletic administration staff and coaches are committed to providing a challenging, caring, and supportive environment where each one of our individual student-athletes can reach their fullest academic and athletic potential. We expect our coaches, athletes, and spectators to conduct themselves in a manner that shows respect and sportsmanship when interacting with opposing teams, coaches, fans, and officials
The Winnebago Fans Club continues to play a pivotal role in providing support, energy, enthusiasm, and funding for our athletes and coaches within our high school athletics programs A big thank you to our Fans Club, local business, alumni, community and family members for all they have done and continue to do to help make our athletics programs at WHS successful.
