Musical Synopsis:
It’s 1959, and Rydell High School’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hubcaps and acting tough and their gum-snapping, chain-smoking “Pink Ladies” are looking hot in bobby sox and pedal pushers. The 1950s high school dream is about to explode in this rollicking musical that is both an homage to the idealism of the fifties and a satire of high schoolers’ age-old desire to be rebellious, provocative, and rebellious. At the story’s heart is the romance between hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret romance in the summer, but now back in the context of school, peer pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still get make demure Sandy his girl? The whole gang sings and dances around Danny and Sandy’s romance, through such hit songs as “Greased Lightnin’”, “We Go Together”, and “Mooning”, recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. Starting off with an eightyear Broadway run, Grease is among the world’s most popular musicals and has a cult-like following, especially among teens!

Cast Biographies:
Bella Torres Annabella Torres is very excited to be playing Sandy in this year’s production of Grease! She is in 8th grade and this is her 4th show with North Boone Drama Club but her 10th show altogether! Some of her highlights include playing Flounder in The Little Mermaid at both Starlight Theatre and North Boone, Brigitta in The Sound Of Music with Main Street Players Of Boone County, A Zebra, and Vlad Vladikoff in Seussical with Theatre 121, and many more! You can catch her next in In The Heights and Oliver’s ensemble with Starlight Theatre! She hopes you enjoy the show and wants to thank everyone that made doing this show possible!

Miriam Perez Miriam is a senior at North Boone High School this year and has been a part of the Drama Club all four years of high school. She has been in many productions including “The Little Mermaid”, “Chicago”, “Clue”, and many more! Although this is her last show at North Boone she is super excited to be able to continue her theater career at Illinois State University in the fall. She would love to thank her family and friends for always coming to support and cheer her on. She would also like to thank her mom for supporting her dreams and always being there. Suzy Meier: This is my 5th production, as well as my 5th year in drama. I hope you enjoy the show!
Caleb Kerrigan: My name is Caleb Kerrigan, and this is my second year involved in drama. I have been in two productions. You last saw me as Mr. Boddy in our play CLUE. I hope everyone has as much fun watching the show as we had putting it together!
Ella Hill: I am 14. This is my 11th production, some of which include Annie, The Little Mermaid, and Gospel. Thank You to my amazing cast and a big shout out to all of the high schoolers who are graduating. Thank You for coming and enjoy the show!
Ella Ellingson: Ella Ellingson is a Senior at NBHS. She has been in drama since freshman year and this is her 9th production with North Boone, along with 5 outside of school. Ella has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of theatre and loves to make people laugh. Ella’s love for theatre has also inspired her to major in Costume Design and Technology at UIUC in the fall. She wants to thank her family and friends for always supporting her, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Brie Kloc: Hi, I’m Brie Kloc. I’m 14 years old and I play JAN!!!! I have been in drama for 2 years and have done 4 productions Including The Little Mermaid, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, and Clue. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this classic musical!!

Luciano Pacheco: my name is Luciano Pacheco Estrada. I play the role of Teen Angel and Johnny Casino. I hope you enjoy the musical!
Kaleigh Mamer-Cox: Kaleigh Mamer-Cox has been in theater for 4 years. She has been in 7 productions so far. She has been in or helped with: She Kills Monsters, Sweeney Todd, 10 Ways to Survive Life in a Quarantine, Influencer Nation, Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon, Little Mermaid, And Greece. She has had such a great time in theater and hopes all of her future shows will be just as great, not just to be in, but for everyone to watch.
Christina Bank: I have been a part of the drama club for just this year. I have been in 2 productions (Annie Jr., and this year’s Grease!). The drama club is a great place to meet new friends, build lasting bonds, and find something you’re passionate about.
Lorelei Ford: This is my second year in drama and will be my third production. It’s always fun to work with the cast, and I hope you enjoy the show!
Brooke Jurs: My name is Brooke Jurs, and I have been a part of the Drama Club for 2 years. I’ve acted in 3 productions so far (all in school). “Do your folks know that I come into your room every night???”
Ella Searle: Hi! My name is Ella Searle and this is my second year in drama. I have been in six shows overall. I want to thank my family for being supportive of me. I hope that everyone enjoys the show!
Alyssa Hirsch: My name is Alyssa Hirsch. I have been a part of the Drama Club for almost a year now. I acted in the Fall Play (Clue). “Purple is the last color of the rainbow. Purple means I will trust and love you for a long time.”

Madelyn Podzimek: Hi! I’m Madalynn! I have been in drama for 1 year. I am in the ensemble and I love it. I am in the background! The background is awesome. I owe it to my friends and family for making try out for this! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
Alison Butler: My name is Alison Butler. I am part of the ensemble. If you want to be a part of a play or a musical then drama would be your best choice!

Lily Hyser: Hi, I am Lily. I am a sophomore and this is my very first show in drama club I really enjoyed being in this production of Grease and it is an enjoyable experience being included in drama club. I want to thank my mom and dad for inspiring me to be in the production and I hope you enjoy the show!
