offers a thorough and comprehensive curriculum aimed at developing a high level of musicianship for young performers. This program is designed not only to serve as a pre-college preparatory program for those who have the potential to pursue music, but also to provide a conservatory environment for anyone passionate about music and its disciplines. Our faculty members have expertise in a wide range of musical genres and disciplines, from historical performance practice to recording engineering.

PAA ACCEPTANCE RATE

Hundred percent of the PAA graduates were accepted into institutions of higher education, and 96% are attending a four-year college program. Additionally, 4% are attending/attended a twoyear college. The following post-secondary campus matriculation data was reported by the Class of 2014-2022.

The number of students accepted into the academy varies depending on each year. We do not limit the number of acceptances and it is not determined by instrumentation.

PAA COMPLETION RATE

While the Academy is a four-year program, we accept applications from sophomores and juniors. A majority of students who enrolled as freshmen complete the program.

NATIONAL MERIT SEMIFINALISTS & VALEDICTORIANS

Many of the Academy students are versatile in both musical and academic fields, being named national merit semifinalists and valedictorians.

COLLEGIATE DEGREES

Of all the Academy Graduates who advance into collegiate studies, less than 35% of them pursue a degree in music.
