We travel to ports around the world and link the past with the present.

Sailing, food, art, dance, music writing, architecture are just some of the subjects that make up our show.

Sailors • For Thousands of years sailors arrived at ports carrying information. They traded goods.

They imparted culture, technology, and wisdom.

• When you look at your dinning room table chances are you will see salt and pepper. They didn’t arrive to your table top by accident.

PEPPER • Pepper was the driving force to human expansion and trade for thousands of years. The sailor was charged with finding it.

Poseidon’s Challenge: This is a story about fear; fear of the water; fear of the ocean; fear of the unknown.

Fear is what kept man from discovering the world. Standing on the beach of Nazare’ watching giant waves crash against the shore is daunting.

Commercial Rafting: Scott sails a Rabelo boat. Keeping with our nautical premise, we reach inland up the Douro River to the vineyards that of supplied Port wine for hundreds of years.

All Along The Watch Tower: This story is about the sailor’s point of view. Our show is premised on the fact that the sailor see’s things differently than other travelers

Partir o Pao: To break bread.

To break bread with a traveler is the nexus of sharing and communicating. Hospitality was a more defined and an important aspect of life before the internet.

This is a story about experience, sharing, and talking with new friends.

Lagos: The gateway to Europe for slavery.

Scott explores the epicenter for the Portuguese nautical exploration and the beginning of slavery.

This is a profound place. Slavery has haunted mankind forever.

Below the Salt: Scott learns how to cull salt from the marshes. Scott tells the story of salt and it’s uses.

Knights Templars: Scott walks the ramparts of Castle Castro. The story of how the Knights Templar escaped France and found refuge in Portugal. They became the Order of Christ.

Their first Grand Master was Henry the Navigator.

Vasco de Gama was also member of the Order of Christ. The Order of Christ was ultimately responsible for the visionary travel that was to become the Age of Geographical Discovery.
