In this issue of the award-winning Daytona State College Magazine, the excitement of commencement takes center stage. After listening to feedback about previous ceremonies, we wanted to make the event truly special for each graduate and their family and friends in attendance, so in an historic first, the college held three separate ceremonies in one day. Splitting the ceremonies placed the focus squarely on the graduates and the significance of their special day. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the photos within this issue capture the pure joy and happiness of the day.
