Distance Alert®* The Distance Alert system helps the driver maintain a safe distance fom the vehicle in front.

This radar technology measures the distance from the vehicle in front and this information is then sent to the vehicles control system (ECU), before being relayed onto the transluscent screen. The driver can set their prefered distance and the system will warn you with a visual alert, providing accessible safety information whilst still in full control at all times.

Parking Assistance** Front and Rear Parking Aid is available with the Available Space Measurement (ASM), meaning fitting into tight parking spaces has never been easier.

The system gives parking advice through different messages on the display. An audible alert sounds when an obstacle is approaching.

Electric Parking Brake with Hill Assist All 5008’s are fitted with the Electric Parking Brake with Hill Assist as standard. This function offers many practical benefits from convenience through to additional storage space within the centre console.

When the driver stops at a set of traffic lights, the parking brake can be activated manually.

When removed Hill Assist will keep the vehicle at a standstill for up to 2 seconds to assist the driver when setting off on a gradient.

Head Up Display* The Head Up Display projects essential driving information onto an anti-reflective transluscent panel.

Flexibility For more flexibility, seats in Rows 2 and 3 fold individually and can be folded flat. In addition the passenger seat can also be folded flat*. Particular attention has been paid

to the seats ease of use and cinema style seating enables easy access to the 6th and 7th seats. The car is ideal for when you are all travelling and when you have more luggage.

Panoramic Cielo Roof* See driving in a new light, the panoramic cielo roof* gives the driver and passengers a sense of freedom and space. The heat relective, tinted glass filters out 90% of the suns ultraviolet rays.

In addition an electric sunblind covers up the roof at a touch of a button.

Volume and Storage The boot volume of 5008 is generous and can be increased when the seats are folded flat.

Clever storage throughout the cabin including extra storage in Row 2 footwells* all help make an extended journey an enjoyable adventure.

The low loading sill in the rear makes access and storage easy and comfortable. There are several other additional items designed to suit all your families needs; the 12v charger, additional light from the portable torch* installed in the rear which is equipped with a battery that

“TECHNOLOGY UNPLUGGED” VIDEO PACK* An impressive multi media entertainment system* provides two seven inch colour screens integrated into the driver’s and front passenger’s headrest.

The system enables you to connect to external DVD players and games consoles.

The children can listen to their DVD’s via bluetooth headsets perfect for entertaining the children with different tastes on long journeys.

The solid build and dynamic shape impose a bold and distinctive personality whilst the raking windscreen gives a breathtaking view. A dipping roofline and smoothly sculpted rear quarter lights create a stunning and unique profile which immediately draws onlookers attention.

“5008 - ACTIVE AND PASSIVE SAFETY” With pioneering technology such as Head Up Display with Distance Alert, Electronic Stability Programme with Snow Motion traction control and six SMART safety Airbags, each journey is reassuringly secure and relaxing for all the family.

Optimum safety for both driver and passengers 5008 achieves a Euro NCAP 5* rating – the very highest safety accolade a car can receive. From the electric power-assisted steering to the durable braking system (ABS with EBFD and EBA) that includes Electronic Stability Programme with Snow Motion – an advanced traction control (ASR+) preventing each wheel spinning in slippery winter conditions.

Cruise Control with Speed Limiter* 5008 is available across the range with Cruise Control and Speed limiter. The Cruise Control maintains a constant speed and your speed limit can be set at a speed that will not be exceeded.

SMART Airbag technology 5008 features six SMART safety airbags, all are designed to deploy at the right angle for maximum protection.

They also automatically adjust the pressure and volume of deployment, depending upon the force of a collision. Front seats also hide two side airbags and passengers in outer seats are protected by curtain airbags.

Advanced traction control system Snow Motion is 5008’s intelligent traction control system, standard on all models, it supports impeccable steering, dynamic road handling and active safety. Snow Motion regulates each driving wheel independently in snow, ice, and rain giving the 5008 improved traction in difficult conditions.

Electric Parking Brake and Hill Start Assist 5008 is fitted with an Electric Parking Brake and Hill Start Assist function that helps the driver manœuvre or set off, especially on gradients. When you press the accelerator pedal the parking brake automatically releases and will then automatically enable when you switch off the ignition. In addition it is fitted as standard with the Hill Start Assist function that helps the driver on gradients. When the brake pedal is released, the ESP automatically maintains a stationary position for up to two seconds, enabling the driver the time to move their foot from the brake to the accelerator without the vehicle moving forwards or backwards on a slope. *Available as standard or optional depending upon on version.

“RESPONSIBLE CONTROL” Aerodynamics and fuel saving The aerodynamics, lines and weight of 5008 were vital to optimize consumption.

These also enabled the vehicle to post the best aerodynamics of its category, at 0.29Cx for the versions with 16 and 17inch wheels, also a major factor in reducing fuel consumption.

HDi FAP HDi technology is associated with the very efficient anti pollution system (FAP), Diesel Particulate Filter. Peugeot was the first manufacturer to equip as standard some of its vehicles with FAP.

Electronic Gearbox Control* the EGC transmission provides considerable gains in fuel consumption and low CO2 boosted by the presence of a sixth gear.

Energy Saving Tyres The less rolling resistence your tyres provide, the less fuel you need to travel the same distance. Michelin’s Energy Saver Tyres, fitted on 16inch wheels on 5008, reduces resistance by 20%, saving you around 0.2 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres you drive compared to a standard tyre.
