"Moming" and Learning to Juggle

inally, we are back to sports and doing things. I love the feeling of scooping up the kids again and heading out the door to go do something. I went to drop off my 9-year-old, Will, at his

first football camp. Only this time, I had extra luggage to carry with me — my 2-month-old baby, Catherine (Cate). Just me and my three kids against the world, I knew I could make this new adventure happen. It was a rainy day, and no way were they cancelling this muddy, messy, tough camp unless there was the slightest flash of lightning. It was lighter and so much easier to carry! Why have I not been doing this all along? This is parenting. This is learning. We are all trying to “figure it out” and as our kids grow, so do we!
