This issue of Dawgen Global Insights explores several management tools and strategies including
the Four (4) Schools of Strategy.
The 4 Schools of Strategy—Position, Execution, Adaption, and Execution—can be visualized
by being mapped to a simple 2x2 matrix. Each School of Strategy has something significant
to offer strategists, as long they are adopted in a balanced manner.
In this edition we also examine the Five (5) P’s of Purpose. Most of us have experienced a
uniqueness in some organizations. They stand out, exude fervor and zeal. Their customers
are pleased with the company, employees enjoy working there, and investors and shareholders
take pride in being part of it.
It is not their exceptional product or service rather the Purpose that makes organizations
unique—their reason for existence and the resulting impact it makes on the world.
