Eligibility
The summer guest programme is available to all guests with a valid guest card (Davos Klosters Premium Card or Davos Klosters Private Card). To be eligible, the guest card must be valid at the time of the booked activity.
Conditions of participation
The conditions of participation (e.g. valid lift pass, required clothing/equipment, minimum age, height etc.) are described in the programme booklet and at davos.ch/ guest-programmes or klosters.ch/guest-programmes. By registering, the participant acknowledges that he/ she has read and understood the conditions of participation and unreservedly confirms that he/she has fulfilled them.
Registration
Guests can register for activities no earlier than 14 days before the actual activity is due to take place either online at davos.ch/guest-programmes, klosters. ch/guest-programmes or in person at one of the two Visitor Information Offices in Davos (Talstrasse 41) or Klosters (Alte Bahnhofstrasse 6). Reservations by phone and e-mail are not possible. Please note the registration deadline for the individual activities as outlined in the programme booklet.
Participation restrictions
Each person may book a maximum of five different activities and a maximum of five tickets per activity. For families: A maximum of five different activities per family and a maximum of one ticket per family member and activity. A participant may take part in each activity only once during the summer season. In the event of a violation of the participation restrictions, DDO is entitled to immediately exclude the person from all summer guest programme activities for an indefinite period.
Registration fee
A charge per person and activity is made for all activities. Please note: these are prices per participant and there is no discounted rate for children or senior citizens. The charges are listed in the programme booklet
and at davos.ch/guest-programmes or klosters.ch/ guest-programmes.
Group bookings
The summer guest programme is an offer aimed at individual guests with a valid guard card and is not intended for groups. Please contact the respective organiser directly to book a (chargeable) experience outside of the guest programme for group bookings of 6 people or more.
Meeting points
Refer to the programme booklet for the exact meeting place for the activities. Please arrive on time and ready to go at the respective meeting point. Should you be delayed, the guide and the service provider will be unable to wait for registered participants.
Identification of participants
The Premium Card/Private Card (guest card) and the registration confirmation (voucher) for the activity must be shown to the guide at the start of the activity (physically or digitally) (for each individual registered/ participating person).
Exclusion
The responsible guide and/or the service provider can exclude the person from the activity should a participant not fulfil the conditions of participation (e.g. valid lift pass, required clothing/equipment, minimum age, height etc.) It is at the discretion of the guide and/or the service provider whether to exclude a participant from the activity if the participant cannot be clearly identified at the start of the activity (see above “Identification of participant”). Participation in the activity under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other mind-altering substances, as well as the consumption of these substances before or during the activity, is strictly prohibited. In the event of an infringement, the fallible person will be immediately excluded from the said activity and will be excluded from all offers included in the summer guest programme for an indefinite period of time. If a participant does not turn up for the registered activity without having cancelled in advance, DDO will be entitled to exclude the person(s) with immediate effect from all offers by the summer guest programme for an indefinite period of time.
Cancellation / No-shows
Please bear in mind that your registration is binding. If you are prevented from attending, cancellation is mandatory no later than the closing date for registration for the activity (by phone on +41 (0)81 415 21 21 or by e-mail to info@davos.ch or info@klosters.ch). This offers other guests the opportunity to register for the activity. The registration fee paid at the time of regis-
tration will not be reimbursed for timely cancellation, late cancellation or in the event of a “no-show”. DDO will spend all income received from the summer guest programme for the aforementioned reasons (timely/ later cancellation, no-shows) on climate protection projects.
Cancellation of individual activities
If an activity is not carried out for reasons exclusively attributable to the service provider or DDO, the registration fee will be credited for possible participation in another activity of the summer guest program in the same year. If the participant cannot or does not wish to take part in a «substitute activity», the registration fee will be refunded. The same procedure applies to activities that cannot be carried out due to force majeure (bad weather, natural disaster, epidemic, etc.).
