The topic for the presentation, “Delivering News in a High Tech Age,” sponsored by Deseret News Publishing Company, Deseret Digital Media, and Holland and Hart. Clark Gilbert, president and CEO of

Deseret News Publishing Company and Deseret Digital Media will present the discussion.

Through Nov. 30 • Tracy Aviary food drive. Bring one non-perishable food item and receive $1 off admission. Food items most needed are peanut butter, tuna fish, canned fruits and vegetables, canned stews and chili, box meals and pasta meals. • Tom Mathewson will display photographs in the Antelope Island Visitor Center art gallery. Dec. 3 • Bountiful Light Parade, 6 p.m. Parade will begin at 400 S. Main and head north to the South Davis Recreation Center, where there will be entertainment, refreshments and Santa Claus.

Dec. 4 • Soroptimist International of Bountiful proudly presents their 37th Annual Christmas Home Tour from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at seven homes throughout Bountiful and Centerville. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for those 12 and younger, and can be purchased at several local businesses or by calling 801299-7793. Proceeds from the event will benefit local, national, and international projects that help women and girls.

Dec. 6 • The Square at 2600’s “Miracle on 2600,” 4-8:30 p.m., food, fun, horse and carriage rides. Have your picture taken with Santa. Come for this annual community event! (2600 South east of Highway 89)
