In Case of a Positive COVID-19 Test If testing positive for COVID-19, students and staff must: ● notify the school immediately and ● remain quarantined for 14 days AND ● have no fever for three days (72 hours) straight AND ● have no further symptoms before they can return to school. If a household member tests positive for COVID-19, even asymptomatic household contacts (such as the student or teacher) must remain at home until 14 days after the COVID-19 positive household member completes their isolation. The student or staff must then be tested at the end of the 14 days to ensure a negative result. In order to return to campus, parents/staff must submit dates and attest to the above to the Business Manager and receive OK to return. Upon return, the student/staff must wear a mask on campus for the following 10 school days. 33

Please read this safety plan to understand all the guidelines and rules should your child study on campus. There are helpful tips from the CDC on how to wear, wash, remove and care for face coverings, how to minimize exposure and risk, and the steps DaVinci will follow, as advised by the county health department, to keep students and staff safe at school. As of January 2021, Santa Clara County remains in the Purple Tier and schools only allowed to bring students in K-6 on campus. This COVID-19 Safety Plan (CSP) outlines health and safety measures adopted by DaVinci Academy with updates from our original Reopening Plan published in the autumn, in accordance with guidelines from Santa Clara County Public Health and the state of California.
