With years of experience and smart technology integrated into the company, Sunray is a one-stop smart solutions provider that undertakes assignments from the initial project diagnosis to conceptualising solutions, procurement, supervision, production, installation and maintenance – taking responsibility of project from the start to end.

The Tan family started a carpentry business.

It was formally incorporated as Sunray Woodcraft Construction.

A devastating fire burnt down the office and factory.

Breakthrough

The office, factory and building was rebuilt.

Through hard work and perseverance, SWC was awarded both IR projects. An inflection point was crossed.

The team moved into its new HQ - The Sunray Building, an icon on the map.

Supplier Readiness

Sunray’s has a very long lasting relationship with our current suppliers. Sunray also do check with the Suppliers regularly on their supply readiness

Sunray’s does equip with our own warehouse. Hence, Sunray has the capability to stock up materials to maintain the supply readiness.

Sunray’s has already in the industry for about 40 Years. Hence Sunray has build up a very extensive network in the procurement stream, not just locally, but also overseas.

Capacity Supply Base Capability

Sunray’s supplier has been in the Market for a very long time, they also have the capacity to cope with the demand within the industry.

Sunray work with a wide range of suppliers. Ranging from Local & Overseas suppliers. This is to ensure the coverage is there to make sure there’s no Gaps in the supply.

All the Supplier that work with Sunray has the capability to produce the supply directly from the factory. Hence working with such profile of supplier of that capability is critical in the construction industry.

Sunray’s Work Frame

At Sunray, there are 2 Department handling suppliers and supply for the Project Needs. There will be 1 Local Team handling local supplies and equipment, there’s another Team, working very closely with our China Office for overseas supplies.

Strategies To Improve Productivity And Innovation

Adoption of VDC infrastructure at site office

Dedicate 2 rooms on site with 3 nos of BIM dedicated hardware each, as well as 1 nos digital smart board to facilitate integrated Concurrent Eng Practice for project collaborations.

Provision of mobile portable VR Machine at Site Office

Provision of portable VR machine to facilitate Virtual Reality Digital mock ups and prototyping. (Sunray has HTC VIVE Pro and Microsoft Holens).

VR simulations allows consultants and clients to experience VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT and collaborate virtually. To established informed design decisions before physical construction takes place. Reducing Physical Mockups to a minimum.

Adoption of BIM to field devices for site Coordination and collaborations

Provision of 3 nos of BIM Tablets with BIM 360 Field or Novade Systems to facilitate project coordinators to review BIM models and document on site and ensuring field monitoring and control.

Strategies To Improve Productivity And Innovation

Adoption of Openspace and Project Clearsight

Provision of a 360 camera and photo capture software to track and report visual records of site progress and to incorporate the data back into Project Clearsight for progress updates with power BI analytics.

Adoption of BIMTrack or BIM 360 Docs

For VDC issue monitoring, tracking and reporting Matrices, to ensure that all RFIs and BIM Clashes are updated and tracked. Generating reports with Power BI technologies to facilitate data driven monthly reporting of VDC co-ordinations.

Provision of 3D Scanning Technology

For as Build verification and Validation (Sunray has Faro, Trimble, Creaform scanners).

SWC able to do unlimited builder works. With this grade, it reflected that SWC would be able to carry out builder works including structure works, façade works, strengthening works, steel structure staircase, alteration & Additional.

INTERIOR DECORATION & FINISHING WORKSCR06 | GRADE L6

SWC able to do unlimited interior fitting out works which requires high amount of interior-out works as well as carpentry and joineries works. SWC have in-house carpentry production factories and machines to produce joineries and fitting, as well as furniture.
