Our track record proves our professional expertise. Davidson Hotels & Resorts is a full-service hospitality company providing management, development, acquisition, accounting and consulting expertise for the lodging industry. Founded in 1974 as Flautt and Mann Properties, the company initially grew through its management of small, mid-scale hotels located primarily in the Southeastern U.S. Throughout the 1980’s, Davidson began to acquire and develop larger and more sophisticated properties including business-class properties throughout the region. In 1991, the company changed its name to Davidson Hotel Company and embarked on a truly Impressive evolution. Throughout the 1990’s and into the present, Davidson has grown into a highly-focused, full-service operator in the upper 3-star and 4-star segments. Davidson has provided management services for some of the country’s largest and most sophisticated institutional owners. These institutional owners have sought out Davidson due to its exceptional track record; creating value in hotels through the application of its expertise in renovating, re-branding and repositioning hotels. Davidson has earned this trust not only by delivering the financial results for its owners, but also by maintaining an aggressive and transparent reporting system between its properties and the owner’s asset management teams.

Resulting from Davidson’s unparalleled success in creating asset value, institutional, as well as individual, owners have sought out its expertise to provide management services on a third-party basis. Accordingly, Davidson has been able to leverage its industry relationship in bringing value to other assets, much as it’s done in creating value for its own properties over the last four decades. Davidson’s intense focus on quality has allowed it to achieve strong customer service rankings within the brands, yet still drive exceptional profitability for its owner’s—proving that quality doesn’t have to cost money.

“Davidson manages for the most sophisticated and demanding ownership groups in lodging and incorporates the learned best practices into an operations, marketing, revenue management and technology platform that are second to none.”
