With budgets tight, what if your group could raise anything up to £1000 in a month.

One focus with a bit of HEALTHY COMPETITION thrown in for good measure?

How do you include your students in their learning and place an investment in themselves?

What if your student voice or council or business team board then decided how to invest their profits in their own education, had a budget to buy, make and sell.

Learnt the full on skills of running a business in school, complementing, not hindering the curriculum.

This is the snowball effect -starts slowly and continues rolling down the hill - increasing in size and space.

When a young person says ʻCan we do thatʼ and the teacher replies ʻ sorry itʼs not in budget or we canʼt afford itʼ.

Biography: David MacAskill is a qualified teacher of some 18 years. Fully portable DBS registered.Starting as a Design & Technology teacher and of late has become a specialist in Engagement in Enterprise Skills. David has lead several teams of SEN students to regional level acclaim and was awarded the EBP ʻAmazing Person award ʻ for the promotion of Enterprise in Schools & Collegesʼ 2013. David plans and delivers Enterprise education in a creative manner utilising a range of skills, applicable to REAL Life scenarios.
