This enables me to be a part of the team that sets a building project’s goals as something larger than just a piece of stand-alone architecture, and then to translate my experience into the successful oversight of the effort to see those goals through to built reality.

As Design Director, I bridged the gap between the various wings of project development, conceptualization, and construction at JDS, and translated project goals to the consultant teams charged with the design and documentation of projects. In overseeing consultants and our own in-house design management team, I was responsible for the delivery of projects that met our goals and time lines, as well as navigating various regulatory processes, and the implementation of final designs in the field with our project teams.
