22 Lord we ask that you lay your hand on each and every member of this congregation, the housebound, the members who are in nursing homes, be with each and every person and touch their hearts and let them know you are with them. Amen.

23 Lord as the Commonwealth Games

start, we pray for all those taking part and as they aim for the finishing line and a medal, we pray that people aim for their own personal finishing line with You and to receive the medal of forgiveness

24 Give thanks and ask God’s blessing on

those who arrange, deliver and receive the church flowers.

28 Read 1 Peter 2:2

Ask God to forgive any sin within us and that we would walk in the light of Jesus thus growing spiritually.

29 Just as the womenfolk cared for Jesus

needs, give thanks today for the care given by mothers and grandmothers.

30 Pray for everyone out of work. Young

couples with families, older people coming to the end of their working lives. Pray they all get the support they need.

31 Lord we come before you with arms

outstretched, hearts open, shouting “Fill us with the Holy Spirit” set our hearts on fire for you Lord so that we may go out with confidence and spread your amazing word.

25 Give thanks to God for the beauty of this world.

26 Please pray for those suffering from depression and those that have lost the joy of Gods salvation. Pray that those lost will return to Him.

27 May the Holy Spirit move amongst us

in church today. That we may be strengthened and rooted in the love of Christ. Ephesians 1: 16-20

1 Lord we give thanks and praise for all

the help, guidance and answered prayers that you have lovingly given us throughout June and as we go into July we ask that you will be with us. Amen.

of our family who are away in Arizona. Bless each one of them as they spread your Word and deliver them safely back home.

9 Pray God’s presence and intervention

in the escalating global refugee crisis that the 50 plus million of displaced people and families would find shelter, security and hope in His name.

3 Oh Lord, your heart must ache at the

conflict all around the world but more so in Syria and all those people who are having to flee their homes. We ask that you will be there with them. Give them your peace.

Lord we lift up those who are struggling with addiction. Be with them and fill their hearts with hope so that they can beat this with your help. Also Lord, be with their families as it is so hard for them to watch their loved ones waste away before them. Give them hope as you are the master of miracles.

5 As school holidays are underway, we

ask His blessing and protection on each and every child during this time of excitement and fun.

6 We lift up the Worship Team to you

Lord. Be with each and every one of them as they lead worship each Sunday.

Bring before God all the other churches surrounding our parish. May God’s blessing be upon them and their Ministers, Pastors and Priests.

11 Give thanks for the precious gifts of

love and friendship. For the people past and present who encouraged us in our walk with the Lord.

16 Pray God’s blessing on all new church initiatives. Help us to remember that the seeds we sow often takes time, patience and the nourishment of His grace to produce results.

17 Lord we ask a blessing on all those

who are getting married today and this month, that you will walk with them throughout all their marriage.

18 Create in us today a longing to follow

Jesus and to faithfully serve our church and community. Mark 8:34-38

19 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant unto me a willing spirit to sustain me. Psalm 51 v 12

12 Give thanks and ask a blessing on the

work of the fellowship break teams who serve the welcoming refreshments after church each Sunday.

13 Lord we lift up “The Gathering” as we meet today. We pray that your presence will be felt.

20 We come before you today to lift up all those who are ill in our congregation. We ask that you will lay your healing hand on them.

21 We lift up Sutherland House to you

Lord as we gather today with our church family to show them some ways of eating more healthier. We ask that you would bless all those involved.
