In the ongoing India-West Indies Test series, the second and final Test match is being played at Jamaica.

The match which began on Friday, saw Rahkeem Cornwall make his debut in Test cricket debut for West Indies. He thus became the heaviest cricketer to play International Cricket. Rahkeem is often counted as one of the giants who have played International Cricket. 6.4 feet tall and weighed at 140 Kilograms, the 26-year-old all-rounder, Rahkeem has found a place for him in the West Indian set up for the first time despite being a regular performer in domestic cricket.

KNOWN FOR HIS MASSIVE SIXES The 26-year-old cricketer is a native of Antigua and plays domestic cricket for Antigua itself. Rahkeem often uses his height and weight to his advantage while batting. His 6ft 4 inches height added to his massive weight gives him the power like none other. It is his power alone which can send the ball out of the park for humongous sixes. He has featured in as many as 55 first-class matches and scored 2224 runs and picked up 260 wickets. However, in the recent past Rahkeem’s weight fluctuated near the 150 Kilograms mark which was a barrier to West Indian team selection. The selection committee of the West Indian cricket team revealed that it is because Rahkeem is a proven match-winner at the domestic level that he is being given this opportunity.
