Rahkeem Cornwall: The Heaviest Cricket to Play International Cricket

In the ongoing India-West Indies Test series, the second and final Test match is being played at Jamaica. The match which began on Friday, saw Rahkeem Cornwall make his debut in Test cricket debut for West Indies. He thus became the heaviest cricketer to play International Cricket. Rahkeem is often counted as one of the giants who have played International Cricket. 6.4 feet tall and weighed at 140 Kilograms, the 26-year-old all-rounder, Rahkeem has found a place for him in the West Indian set up for the first time despite being a regular performer in domestic cricket. MEMORABLE DEBUT MATCH SO FAR Rahkeem did not fail to impress in his first Test outing playing against the Indian team. He not only picked up a wicket but bagged two sharp catches in the field. The first wicket to which he contributed was the dismissal of KL Rahul. Rahul decided to slash a Jason Holder delivery outside the off-stump but only managed to edge it to the slip cordon where an alert Rahkeem pouched his catch. He then dismissed Chesteshwar Pujara for six runs of his own bowling and grabbed another catch to dismiss Mayank Agarwal who looked good for his 55.
