Chloe is mum to Helen and Frank, an adult nurse, and now an author from Cheshire. Chloe wrote this book in memory of her daughter Helen, who passed away unexpectedly in 2024 at just 4 years old. She created it to help explain loss and bereavement to children in a simple, comforting way, and to support parents, carers and teachers in approaching such a difficult subject.

Chloe and her partner Jack find comfort in the little signs that make them feel closer to Helen every day. She hopes this book brings comfort to the little people in your life too.

Phoebe Foxtrot is an illustrator and community artist with a love for all things joyful. Through her work as a community artist, She helps foster creative communities around the North West using craftivism, glitter, lovely chats, brews and toast. Her illustration work has been featured in lots of wonderful places, and now, here in this very special book.

When we lose someone we love, it can feel like they’re suddenly far away.

This comforting story helps children notice the little signs - a star in the sky, a colourful rainbow, or a friendly robin - that remind us our loved ones are still close in our heart.

A gentle way for families, carers and teachers to talk about loss, love and the magic of remembering.
