ged testing info Registering for GED Testing • Go to the GED Testing Services website at gedtestingservice.com or GED.com • Sign up for a My GED account • Write down your User Name and password for future access Making an Appointment • Locate the Testing Center • Check the testing schedule • Choose an appointment day/time • Pay for the test (credit or debit card or voucher) GED Testing Fees • The fee for each test is $38.00 (there are four tests) • Testing candidates will be able to take two re-tests per subject area (8 total). The retest fee is $10.00. All initial and retest fees are paid when a testing appointment is made. Arriving for Your Test • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled test appointment. • Please bring a valid government issued picture I.D. and a second I.D. with a signature. • Check in at Student Services.

• Read and sign the Candidate Rules Agreement. For 16- and 17-Year-Old Students Candidates 16 and 17 years of age must provide proof of one of the following in order to take the GED test: • A Release from Compulsory Attendance from last high school attended. • Be a student in the GED Options program. • Married or Legally emancipated. What to Bring Candidates should refrain from bringing to the testing center large items such as backpacks, purses, laptops and other electronics, and books. Your personal items must fit in small lockers provided to you during testing. You will be asked to remove large watches and other large jewelry before entering the room.
