Welcome may I introduce myself? My name is sadaf hasanzada . About my background I have graduate in Uae year 2019.
Since April 2020 I live in Nederland. In my previous education I have worked in design studio for designing variant project . In addition We basically worked on conceptual diagram and planning architectural pretension and modeling and detail construction . I look forward to build my career based on what I have learned and building rule and regulation about European buildings. My Interest in architecture mainly is about projects that combines with nature and light . I would like to explore more to play with light and the way it effects on building .
MY fascination on architecture mainly goes on playing with light and shade and shadows which I would like to approach on my every projects. In addition types of circulation which encourages users to explore deeply through the spaces and convert different experiences.
I have graduated on year 2019 as graduated student I always thought what i have learned during all these years what would be my role as future architect what would be best approach for me. I tried alot to built my career and find my position based on my study although there have been lot of obstacles in my ways . I would love to study the master program in Rotterdam academy of architecture because when i have search about what would be required for portfolio academy asked what would be your fascination with in the field that caused me to think it over deeply. Before that I never knew that I had regular style in my projects which should have been presented clearly . Since I was in my second year of my study I was interested in the structuralism in architecture and it’s magnificent examples of cube house in Rotterdam and Amsterdam orphanage since then I wanted to implements lights and greenery in all designed spaces. I have elaborated my fascination after I visited louver museum in abu dhabi . I find the way that the architect played with light very interesting combination of the shadows and water and dance of light tigers the sens of the belonging and comfort in me. actually the architect wanted to create a feeling of connection with sky and the geometric interplay with light. That masterpieces inspired me to use water also in my projects. In summary maze network in circulation balanced open and closed spaces and playing with light could be the story I would tell in my portfolio and are my fascination in architecture.

The role and importance of the nature is undeniable in human social life and existence of the nature is essential. Because the god is creator and man is explorer so human need to explore in nature in order to create new order. Designing and building with or in harmony with nature is the one efficient concept, which works towards integrating the elements of balance between the built environment and nature. Nature can reduce stress , improve cognitive function and creativity, improve our wellbeing and expedite healing.
The selected site is located in bamiyan Afghanistan . The district composed of commercial and residential area. The selected plot has access by road and the opportunity of being adjacent to the river with potential of good natural environment , plenty of greenery. Bamiyan is tourist attraction . Area with several hotels.
One of the landmark is buda of bamiyan. The image below demonstrate the spirit of the place(genius loci board) what feelings and idea we can capture from the site.

The idea behind this project initially came from context and site surrounding hence view from the building and to the outside was considering while designing and also river which is one of the significant element of this site was one of the inspiration for circulation system and bamiyan is the place which is known by its natural beauty an unspoiled nature so the idea was to design building with integration of nature and blended with it finally the core elements captured for designed this project summarized below. The V-shape molding provides perfect catch for the collar bolt. the strong tension and the short slid-in alleviates any connection problems and guarantees joint sealing.
There are different versions of the collar bolt available for recons which offer four different options.

The selected site is located in ajman uae it’s rectangular site with 270x 220 dimension. this site is located in the corner of roundabout and it is accessible by two main roads . site area is fairy silent and mostly residential except of a few schools and hotel.
The idea has been inspired from following case studies and the challenge was to undertake an independent inquiry into ideas, concept and method employed by structuralist movement . One of the main aspect from these projects which was captured from the idea of structuralism movement is using the same module and reproduce it several times and the balance between the activities and spaces and also provide natural daylight by shading roof.

The current staircase used certain rhythm in designing the balustrade I take the Idea as inspiration and tried to find out similar rythm for layout of the balustrade.
Precast Terrazzo step
Construction Detail :
The current stairwell is constructed with marble and the fences are made from steel. The constructed material of the newel post is from timber. The new staircase construction material are from terrazzo because it is durable and physically aesthetic. It also have similarity with current marble staircase. In order to reinforce the connection of the old staircase and the new staircase I did the newel post with the same material timber so while the design of the fences and the material are modern and made by metal the post newel of the old staircase and new are the same and connect the two staircase together.
