Th s arch tectural model employs a blend of materials to represent various elements of a building Wooden sticks are used to symbolize timber elements capturing the organic and structural qualities of wood in arch tecture Colored card is util zed to indicate limestone, often chosen for its durability and natural beauty The use of moss to represent a sedum roof emphasizes the growing trend of integrating green spaces into building designs reflecting a commitment to sustainability and the incorporation of natural elements n urban environments The model's section cut offers a glimpse inside showing how these materials and green spaces interact within the structure, marrying form with function

Art:Space

The objective of this project entailed the establishment of a petite artistic facility catering to both children and adults.

This art center serves as an extension to a museum in Bath UK following a request from the authorities for a compact craft space suitable for hosting masterclasses and workshops for people of all ages. My pr mary objective was to ma ntain a sense of simpl city while creating a versatile welllit, and spacious env ronment To achieve this

I opted for a basic, childhood-inspired build ng design, unify ng various requirements Additionally, I enlarged the opposite wall to give the illusion of increased space when entering the center, adding an element of intrigue Furthermore, I chose to conceal w ndows beneath the outer cladding to effectively manage natural l ght and prevent workshop attendees from being overwhelmed by the sun's glare

Artisan

The objective of this project was to design a residence for a blacksmith located on an island undergoing revitalization. The building was intended to serve as a catalyst for the growth of the new community and the island's economy.

The pr mary objective for the blacksmith s family home was to create a warm and comfortable l ving and work ng env ronment in a cold and w ndy area To ach eve th s, employed several des gn strategies

F rstly, incorporated an nner courtyard to provide shelter from the harsh weather cond t ons I also min mized the size of the windows to reduce heat loss and used brick as the primary insulation mater al, ensur ng effective thermal regulat on

For the summer season, introduced an open veranda on the upper floor to offer a space for relaxation and enjoyment of better weather condit ons

In terms of sustainab lity harnessed the heat generated from the workshop to warm the main l ving area by connect ng the walls between the two spaces Th s not only improved energy efficiency but also created a cohes ve and functional layout

The bu lding s form was pr mar ly dr ven by low-carbon requ rements, leading me to choose recla med brick as the ma n construction mater al Additionally I carefully considered the placement of exposed walls and windows, primar ly facing south to max mize solar heat gain, further contr buting to energy effic ency and overall comfort

2pm 11pm Throughout the day th s house exper ences a d verse range of activit es and uses The morning for the blacksmiths starts in the workshop where the gentle light from the east welcomes them as they begin the r workday This space s filled w th the sounds of craftsmansh p and the forg ng of metals, sett ng the tone for their creat ve endeavors As noon approaches they take a break and move to the living room where the atmosphere shifts to one of relaxation and leisure Here they may enjoy meals read or engage n var ous other activ ties that prov de a contrast to the earl er ndustriousness n the workshop Eventually the day draws to a close, and they retreat to the bedroom Here they bid farewell to the fad ng sunlight, perhaps gazing out of the windows at the changing colors of the sky as they w nd down from their day The bedroom provides a peaceful and restful space where they can recharge ready to embrace the new day when the sun r ses again n the east This house effectively caters to the var ous needs and rhythms of their da ly lives
