Me and my friend decided to meet as we had not met for so long plus I had to pick some gifts for my parents on their wedding anniversary so I needed help. After much speculation about what to gift, we decided to buy them bags because what a better gift I could give them which they can use daily.

We went to a lot of stores but really didn’t like anything as such for this purpose and were disappointed for the time wasted. But before going home we thought of going to one more place to try our luck and then went to Salvatore Ferragamo store as I had heard a lot about their products.

For those who don’t know, it is an Italian luxury label founded in 1928 and is

based out of Florence. Founded by designer Salvatore Ferragamo, initially it focused on women footwear but now it has expanded to other domains like leather goods, handbags and ready to wear for both men & women. I chose this designer because it offers some beautiful handbags which are sophisticated, classic and mature, making it perfect for gifting. The beauties are structured with ideal shape & size and are available in lot of options like for men; messenger bags and wallets while for women; bucket bags, clutches, cross body, evening bags, satchels, totes and wallets. The simplicity is what attracted me towards them the most.

I finally chose a medium Sofia bag in brown color for my mom and a black briefcase bag for dad. The quality of the leather used in them is indeed appreciable making them super durable. What I liked about the Sofia bag is the overall look which I found appealing. Gonna buy something from this brand for myself too.
