As to that, more Quran teachers needed to serve the community in t aspect, be it in Darul Ghufran Mosque at the comfort of their homes.

Thus, this leads to a Quran Teac training course to produce m proficient Asatizah in the commun with its name:

For those seeking Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) - Quran Teacher (Tier 2)

For those looking to deepen their knowledge in recitation of Quran and its relevant sciences (Ulum Quran)

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

The course focuses on 3 core areas:

1) Tilawah (reading) competency,

2) Tajweed proficiency and

3) Knowledge in Ulum Quran and Fardhu Ain.

MODULE SYNOPSIS

Tilawah (TL 101)

This core module of the program invites students to refine their Quran recitation through Tadarrus Jama'ie under the supervision of their respective Asatizah.

This module aims to have all students to khatam their recitation before their graduation

Adab Al-Quran (UQ 101)

This module introduces various etiquettes with AlQuran, as a Teacher or as a Student,

The aim of the module is to ensure the humility (Adab) with Al-Quran is preserved.

The module is closely in reference to the famous scholar Imam An-Nawawi's kitab, Hamalatul Quran

Arabic Language (UQ 102)

This module introduces the basics of Arabic Language to make students able to apply for Waqf (stopping) and Ibtida (continuation) in Al-Quran recitation effectively

Basic structure in Arabic Language such as Ism (Nouns), Fi'il (verbs), sentence structures like al-Marfu', al-Mansub and al-Majrur will be touched upon.

MODULE SYNOPSIS

Tajweed (TJ 201)

This module covers the basic concepts like points of articulation (Makhraj) and characteristics (Sifaat) of Letters, before revisiting the Basic laws of Tajweed ike Idgham, laws of Mad and Nuun Saakinah etc.

The advanced Tajweed concepts will be discussed, such as the numerous Laws of Waqaf (stop) and Ibtida' (start), Hamzah Wasal and Qata' etc

Tarikh Mushaf (UQ 202)

This module discusses on the development of Al-Quran compilation from Rasulullah's time till Khalifah Uthman's era when Rasm Uthmani was first introduced

Intensive Training inTeaching Al-Quran (ITTQAN)

Introduction to Rasm Al-Quran (UQ 301)

This module discusses on the various methods in writing Al-Quran for Rasm Uthmani, such as al-Ziyadah and al-Hadhaf

Students will also explore the various khilaf (differences) between the Muslim scholars in the writing of Rasm Uthmani before going in depth in learning its development through different eras to get our Mushaf as we see today

Introduction to Qiraat (UQ 302)

The module invites students to explore the different versions of recitation in Al-Quran (Qiraat)

The history and the biodata of the Qiraat Imams and their students will also be discussed.

MODULE SYNOPSIS

Fundamentals of Fardhu Ain (FA 401)

This module revisits our basic obligation as Muslims, which includes praying, charity, fasting and pilgrimage.

The objective is to equip learners with the basic understanding which sets the credibility standards of an Al-Quran and Religious teacher.
