In the long space-time of river, The event of 228, It is a emblem of crack Many innocent people, They originally had the glorious life.

Unfortunately, They were into the history that was dark, absurd, and Preposterous in that period.

The drafty souls.

The crying river.

Memory climbs the bed and grows roots, The roots is twining between the burning sun and the wasteland.

Germination, massing, growing.

They grow into a sad song which doesn’t have libretto.

The song sings in villages, farms, streets, and alleyways.

The memorial people.

The waiting land.

Non-abreaction of deep emotion.

It is compressed in the thinking that is a thick billow.

Waiting, A legend.

Waiting, A dove, A tune.

A.......light.

It is through that crack.

The full wish of heart.

Recharging the Street Corner It is an infill building at a heavy commercial street corner. You are asked to search for a new building content and building type in this project. The building will reinterpret the new urban conditions and the emerging community issues.

A. Intermediate The base of design is located in Zhongshan North Road. This space develops into three areas because of its historical background and behaviors.

The first zone: is characterized by its main business of finance, hotels and marriage products. The location is mainly on Zhongshan North Road.

The second zone: is categorized as the assistant commercial area for the first zone, such as the small hotels, service business and tea rooms.

The third zone: is mainly residence area. The target of this project should connect and communicate the three zones, no matter in terms of the spaces or the behaviors.

B. Connection In order to meet the diverse demands of three zones mentioned previously, the commercial character of luxury goods for zone one, the business behavior of service industry, and the dwelling space of local inhabitants need to be considered for the design. An operating type as Eslite Bookstore is introduced to connect the three zones: the area facing to Zhongshan North Road is located with boutique shops for connecting the spaces of zone two and zone three. The connection is attained by the set up of new passages on the base. To meet the demand on service business, the outdoor or semi-outdoor stands of cafĂŠ and restaurant are placed on the passages. Moreover, the connection of local residents is achieved by the seats for parents and kids in cafĂŠ of zone three.

C. The front construction with hanging, the back construction with supporting.

The base of this project is located in the corner. This resulted in a situation that all the moving routes from any direction are clustered in this space. With consideration on the situation, the designer set the front part of building without pillars for increasing the penetrant degree in order to reduce the sense of density. On the other hand, the back part of the building is supported with four slanting device underneath its four corners. This creates the sense of dramatic varieties.

Container as the Displaying Locus Considering the national policy 'one town, one cultural hall' which is going to be announced in near future, the designer proposes that containers can be the best base for exhibitions. The container is characterized by its easy dissembling and temporary situating. Therefore, each unit of an exhibition can be transported to different towns. The web of exhibition units can also be composed by the number of containers hauled by the trucks.

Moreover, the variant composition and location of containers can meet diverse demands of bases and environments.

To refit the containers 1.To change the original size into variant dimensions such as 15 inches long. Or to increase the height, to enlarge the width, to reduce the depth or to assemble a number of containers into one unit.

2.To attach a ladder; to build an iron cover above the top of container; to extend the eaves et cetera.

3.To remove the rust, to spray paint on the container, to paint ordered characters or colors for customers.

The process to situate the container in the inner space of the building A network of exhibition is formed by the facility and mobility of containers and also by the promotion of 'one town, one hall' policy. A new relationship of space sections is simultaneously generated while the container is being located inside the building.

Multi-use house 1-2

The role of setting : 1 A. Man: He works in a garage. He likes any kinds of machine.

When he have free time, he like to do sport climbing. He is also a coach of sport climbing.

B. woman: She is a housewife. In the morning, she works at home. In the evening, she teaches sport climbing. She like nature, birds, and plants.

Flexible space 2 Considering the space is for two people, so the zoning function is focus on simpler, and they are keen on mountain climbing, so hope their space can be large and transparent, decrease some compartment and create autonomous, furthermore, climbers prefer a large space for living, so the design principle is the whole space can be flexible to integrate, except restroom need appropriate partition.

Transformable space 3 House of small space is not often enough to use for owner, especially for hospitable people, they hope their friends can always visit their house, and get together, but how to expand the existing space ? First, decrease some compartment and create autonomous space. Second, space condition changed.

In this case, the cabinet, bed and bureau are suspended by the extension of ceiling, this way can reduce the “static load� of mezzanine, and the mezzanine is designed to movable type by using the outdoor track, therefore, when their friends come to visit, the mezzanine can be extended to outdoor, and the space will become 2 times bigger, the furniture can be suspended on the ceiling, and also secure the personal stuff.

Ecological corridor 4 The site has two walls, no window and mouth, therefore, this two walls need to remain 90 * 30 cm for ecological corridors, the sun is strong enough at the west side, so it is good for making plant on the soil and photosynthesis, and take advantage of reflector on the ceiling to lead the sun into the indoor space. The plant can make photosynthesis by itself through heat energy and luminosity of halogen bulb, the birds can be brought by north entrance (50*50 cm), and the wall set many nests (50*30*30 cm) for bird living, north side and west side become a ecological corridor..
