Wiley Virden Jr. celebrated his 87th birthday with several friends, including Cooper Taylor (’49) and Asa Candler (’48), at Altobelli’s in Roswell, Ga., on Dec. 7, 2015.

Alston Glenn (’57), Roby Robinson (’58) and Billy Mitchell (’58) catch up at a luncheon for Atlanta-area alumni from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

Pete Petersen III’s complete memoirs were presented to Darlington by his son, Pete Petersen IV, this spring. The school played a prominent role in shaping the life of the elder Peterson and appears frequently throughout the sevenvolume, 4,500-page life story. In his words, “When I finished the work ... it became clear that Darlington School was not only my home for six years, but formed me for my life’s work ahead.”

Lloyd Griffin III has joined Toles, Temple & Wright Inc. as a commercial and residential real estate agent. He graduated from Barney Fletcher Real Estate School in Atlanta and has held an active Georgia real estate license since 2002. He previously owned Bagby Transfer Co., Summit Distributing Co. and Stor-It Mini Warehouses. 1963

Bob Elkins and Dean of College Guidance Sam Moss (’63) reconnected at the University of the South’s homecoming activities in Sewanee, Tenn., this spring. Bob was there for the dedication of a plaque in his late brother, Jim Elkins’ (’58), honor at his fraternity house.
