Summary: Site and concept

The project's location takes place in the idyllic village of Saint-Christophe en Brionnais in the French region of Burgundy. The object of renovation and revitalization is a former school that is currently being used by the institute C.E.P. which deals with the preservation of the romanesque cultural heritage of the region.

The whole rearrangement of the building and its park is centered around an imaginary axis that links the main object with a nearby roundabout and its statue in the middle. It is a starting and orientational point for all the new pathways.
