Program: single family home with small garden

Concept

The single-family home is placed on the southeastern part of the building plot for a new residential area. The idea was to design a modular building, small in volume, but with an optimal arrangement of space, for a family of three. A terrace with a wooden finish is designed as an extension of the living room and the home office, on the western side of the house.

Layout

The ground floor plan is shaped as the letter C, to emphasize the entrance on the northern side. The ground floor rooms are arranged according to their function and conditions of the location. The roof resembles the form of a windmill, composed out of four single-pitched sections.
