Alongsidehiswife,Nikeeta,Dariusownsandoperatesthemulti-awardwinning ChrysalisGroupofEarlyLearningCentresbasedinAucklandandTauranga. SincetheyfoundedtheGroupin2011,theyhavewonseveralprestigiousawards, including“ECC/TelecomInnovation”awardfortheirpatentedinvention–“Roots& Shoots”,“GoldNZCommercialBuilding”award,“PreferredECEprovider”award toseveralmulti-nationalcompanies,and“BestEmergingBusiness”award.
NikeetaandDariushavealsofoundedthe“Gaia(Earth)EducationPrinciple™”, whichhasbeenwidelypublishedateducationconferencesinEurope,Sweden, Australia,AsiaandUSAandbytheMinistryofEducationinNZ.Thisisanall encompassingphilosophy,principleandpracticeof“Earthinspiredenvironments, buildings,values,teaching,curriculum&outcomesforchildren”.Thisphilosophy isnowbeingputintopracticewiththeopeningoftheirlatestearlylearningcentre, theGaia(Earth)PreschoolinManurewa.
